For those of you who did not like the darkest chocolate batons, why not melt with some sugar and full milk and make a yummy hot chocolate!

I've finally been able to cancel my membership online. I chose the doctors orders!

Hope everyone else manages to do it too.

Things are looking bad for Hotel Chocolat - I've never seen so much negative sentiment. They normally get nothing but praise. Are they going the way of Thorntons?

I can see a lot of people didn't like the chocolates but I just wanted to say that I thought they were absolutely gorgeous, I think they looked beautiful and tasted even better than they looked. I was recently given a box of very expensive Godiva chocolates but I much preferred the Hotel Chocolate box, I loved the tasting batons I thought the chocolate was very smooth and each baton had a distinct flavour, I even enjoyed the dark chocolate which I wouldn't usually eat.
I cancelled the membership and I had no problem just a click of a button and I got an immediate cancellation email so I am very happy with the overall service and product and I will definately buy again so thank you OP for sharing! :beer:

People who are still waiting for theirs, have you had them yet?
Still nothing here.
It will be 3 weeks on Friday since I placed the order, so if they're still not here by Friday I am going to email to cancel and request a refund...

I am also still waiting on a chocolate less day. I changed mine to 12 weekly right at the start. Did anyone else still waiting do this?

The dark chocolate dislikers - put it in a chilli (con carne or vege). Really adds depth to the dish.

I have had the delivery date changed twice, last one supposed to be 4th November and still not received the chocolates. I was quite prepared to accept another delivery after Christmas, end of January ( changed to 12 weekly when ordered), even though it would have been at full price as a little treat for the New Year but will not do so now. At least when I order with Thorntons they are delivered quickly.

I agree with the sentiment here. I too was undecided as to whether to keep this going as a little treat every few months. I definitely won't be now. Appalling customer service from the tasting club.
