Todays post just been.......................... and still no chocolates from The chocolate tasting club. :(

    Me too. I've sent an e-mail .
  • Does anyone feel guilty getting these at £1.95. I know it is a great deal but the business would be losing money at this and I don't want to see any business go bust.

The main reason companies offer this type of promotion is that most people forget to cancel or can't be bothered unlike us thrifty lot. Think of Love Film with their promotions. My friend signed up getting 3 months of free usage, used it lots, then forgot to cancel for months even though he had lost the interest he initially had. Basically the cost of one box of chocolates that isn't cancelled probably pays for the cost of about 4 boxes profit wise.

Still nothing here and i signed up 21st with a dispatch date of 28th *sigh*
  • I got a reply to my email...
They said that the chocolates were dispatched 26th Oct and should have been here by now, that I could either have a refund or a replacement box sent out.
I chose the replacement. Now to wait another 10 days to see if this one arrives.
Think I will cancel if/when they arrive anyway as I think there are easier ways to buy chocolate than having to wait weeks and weeks waiting for the postman to bring it.

    Go to my account
    My options
Scroll down to the bottom and click more info
There should be a cancel membership button there and a drop down box with some options to explain why you are cancelling but I can't see this now as I have cancelled, when you have done this your account will say status cancelled and you should also get a cancellation email.
    HTH :)

Thanks for that! I knew I'd seen a cancel button somewhere but couldn't find it.
Chocs arrived on Monday so I've put them away for Christmas, last year we had hardly any chocolate - just watch us get a deluge this year now :p

I had a similar reply and am also expecting a replacement box of chocolates. I will cancel when these arrive for exactly the samer reason as you. I value my time and need to know that if I have ordered something it will show up without me having to chase it.
