    I took a screen shot when I purchased mine and it says exactly the same as the details in the first post £1.95 link - you are not commited to take any further selections x

    Thank you sooo much for the screenshot! Just sent them a snotty email to say how rude the girl on the phone was and asking where exactly on the screenshot does it say I am obligated to receive further boxes!

    The same thing happened to me - on Saturday I received my box, so I then called the 0800 number to cancel. The guy who I spoke to was also very rude and accusing, and told me that the offer I had gone for, where I had received the chocolates for £1.95 meant that I was unable to cancel, and that I was obligated to purchase another box at the price of £19. I told him, that nowhere on the site did I see this mentioned, and was not aware of it when I took up the offer. He still insisted that I had to pay for the next box since it was stated in the T&C. I didn't remember it being stated in the T&C, and from the above screenshot, he was obviously making it up. Anyway, later on in the weekend, I went through the link that Smorie provided in post 173, selected that I would like to "make changes to my membership", I then put in the comment box, that I had received my box and now wanted to cancel all further selections. I received an email back today, to say that they had cancelled it. I have not been charged yet, since delivery was not meant to be until this Wednesday, so do not know whether I will be charged the £1.95 or £6.95.

  • Delurking to add my bit. I screencapped the T&Cs and this is what they said if anyone wants to quote them:

    I am over 18. I understand that payment of £1.95 for the introductory selection is only due on despatch, full details will be enclosed with delivery. I understand I am under no obligation to receive further selections at the price of £18.95. I will make up my own mind when I have sampled the introductory selection and will let you know if I don't wish to continue. If I decide to continue I can choose if and when I would like to receive the monthly selections and the annual Best of the Best Collection. Full terms and conditions can be found at www . chocs. co. uk / terms

  • i phoned on the 3rd to cancel (details said already posted)had no prob , i was very honnest and said i didn't want to be charged for an more but only recieved box today,

    Mine says despatch date of 04/11 (said that before the date too), but not yet had anything through.

    I ordered mine on 24th october and haven't received them yet, when I check on their website the delivery date keeps getting later, started 28th october now gradually changed to 14th november. I have ordered the Elements box (non alcoholic). Which are now out of stock until end of november, no money has been taken from my account yet though.
