hi MU, sorry to read about the Cancer. But, you know you are strong and you will get through it. I am sure loads of people reading this will be sending you positive vibes and prayers, even if they do not know what to say on a post.

I agree that you should tell the bank asap, but remember that these loans are unsecured, so whatever happens your home is not at risk and that is really really important.

Also, have a word with Macmillan or one of the other cancer charities - they are excellent at supporting people through these very difficult times, and can give advice on financial areas too. Please give them a call because they will be invaluable at this time.

Oh messedup Im sending you a big huggle.
All you can do is tell your lenders the situation.
Are the two loans all you have?
As someone said pop up a SOA & we'll see what we can do.
    Take lots of care.
Is there a Maggies Centre near to you?
Have heard that they are really helpful.

Good, they are worth their weight in gold. A bunch of angels :A

Remember, you have been through worse. And survived. Now is the time to dig deep for that strength again. you have the support of your partner, and the support of us lot on here. Your boys will be your motivation to get through this and bankruptcy will not be a requirement for you.

The worst that should happen, financially, is that you end up on a DMP. Not ideal, but in the bigger scheme of things is it the end of the world? NO, of course not!

If it helps, you could also give CCCS or Payplan or one of the others a call tomorrow - they will also be able to reassure you. But Bankruptcy is not something you should be thinking of right now, so put that thought behind you.

    Stay strong xx
