  • First complained 020611....send acknowledgement stating 8 week turnaround time....then they queried something and I got a 16 week turnaround notification.

    300811 complaint upheld...
    080911 payout details sent.

    Nothing since.

LTSB have said give it 4 weeks on teli (12 days to go)...FOS said taking 10 weeks from date of offer letter.

Loan still not restructured...2 repts made since offer letter.

    Next steps to consider incl

    letter to MP/WATCHDOG/TIMES/FOS

between now and end of month.

Would appreciate feedback to forum from people as the receive their LTSB payments, to try to establish a pattern (if any). Most stressful thing is Llloyds refusal to give estimated dates for payment.
  • hi everyone, im new on here, i had my offer letter on the 8th of september for £1100, im still waiting for payment! i phoned them yesterday ( 4th time) and they said they are recalculating my claim to add on interest because i have been waiting so long, they said i will be recieving a letter next week with the new amount they are paying me and that i will recieve payment shortly after recieving the letter. they also told me that they will now be paying my refund directly into my bank instead of a cheque, ill believe it when i see it. they are really taking the !!!! with everyone, they are quick enough to take our money straight out of our bank when it owed to them

I first contacted Lloyds at the end of May. I had my offer letters with the amount they were going to return to me dated the 22nd September (interest up to the 17th October) and I am still waiting. All the letters have the same claim number on them, but out of 6 loans only the one is currently active. Does this mean they will not return anything until the current loan is sorted and should I call them tomorrow and chase the refunds for the old loans?

Morning, yay - I received my money this morning into my account instead of cheque. I wrote to Andrea again yesterday. Letter was on 16th Sept calc up to 13th Oct :j Very happy today now
  • I received my letter this morning with updated interest (original letter calculated to October 13th) and was told I will now receive £2757.00 (interest calculated to 28th Nov) I have just checked my bank account and have had a payment from "PLPI Refunds" for just £471.00???
Anyone know whether this is the actual payment LLoyds are trying to fob me off with or can I expect to receive the rest toward the end of the month (around 28th) as they said? I can understand the money fluctuating a few £'s but surely not over £2200? I know that it hasn't paid off my loan first and given me the remainder as I still have a remaining balance of £1008.00 on my loan.

I'm confused and don't want to complain on the phone for nothing!
    Thanks
  • after 9 weeks we have receiver our money bout time and straight into our account. And £22 extra interest :T

My offer letter was also dated 22nd September but there was nothing in my bank account today. I guess it is too much to hope it will be there tomorrow.
  • just sent my letter to FSO yesterday - refused the offer as it was a joke - I was a teacher with original loan (dont need due to pay when off sick) and worse, self employed on contract basis (cant pay up even if you do claim on PPU) want ALL payments back pkus interest plus original offer which was for having to make higher payments than needed when 'topping up' loans over 7 years.
Have been told by FSO that it could take them up to a year though - dont care......want my money back!
