  • My local MP has written back to me to say he is going to raise this issue. I've emailed Andrea Barry as a courtesy to inform her that I've written to him and Watchdog. I can't believe the way people are being treated, it's disgusting. I don't care if I have to wait for my money, I just want to know when it is going to arrive so I don't have to keep chasing and being told false promises.

Also spoke to someone again. He told me exactly the same thing that they've been telling me for the last 10 weeks. We're on august now, so should be with you within next 2 weeks. They're hoping to get on to septembers claims soon. What does that mean? Surely they know how many August claims they've got, they should be able to give more exact dates for when claims will be resolved. Anyway, at the end of the conversation he casually added, call back in 4 weeks. This is the worst service I have ver heard of. My claim letter is 14th August!!!!!! No wonder nobody has anything but hate for the banks. Absolute joke
  • sent complaint 7th july concerning 5 loans dating back to 1998, received acknowledgement on 12th july,
finally received letter upholding my complaint today 25th october just 2 days short of 16week deadline!!
will keep you posted on any futher developments :)

Was there not a case (reported on this board?) of someone that sent a baliff/debt collector round to a company that owed him money for something? And he charged them interest for the time they didn't pay?

They are on Augusts now???? I been waiting since had offer July......LOWEPOT,dont hold your breath waiting for payment in next couple of weeks, they spout out so much rubbish now, if they were on Augusts as they say, surely I should have been paid by now?????
:rotfl:at comment made at end of call for you to call back in 4 weeks :rotfl: just goes to show they even do not believe you will have been paid by then either. Good luck though, and I truly hope you do get paid in 2 weeks they say.
  • LTSB Credit Card
    Complaint Acknowledged - 13 June 2011
    Upheld - August 2011
    Offer Letter - 8 Sept 2011
Payment 29 Sept 2011 Straight to bank account (£2k)

    LTSB Loan
    Complaint Acknowledged - 27 May 2011
    Upheld - August 2011
    Offer Letter - 8 Sept 2011
    Payment - Not received (£8.5K)

When asked why they can't explain and dont know when the next payment will be made - From what I can tell they just cant be bothered to apply the right resource to resolve the problem and a general scan of this website suggests that the bigger the amount owed the longer you will wait for it.

    TSB Loan
Complaint Acknowledged April 2011( Originally July 2008)
    Upheld - 27 th August 2011 with interest until 4 /10/11
    Offer Letter - 8 Sept 2011
    Payment - Not received

Numerous telephone calls emails all full of lies.I have been told that they will transfer it via BACS within 21 days as they could not sufficiently answer my queries about the volumes of cheques being issued daily and the date they are currently issuing.
I bank with Lloyds and don't understand how it can take 21 days to press a button??
Think I might try the MP route next as its getting beyond a joke. The worst part is the constant lies. I understand they are busy but a little honesty would be appreciated.
  • I have had the same problem, received 4 of my 5 payments, have sent 3 emails to them since 15/10/11 (2 regarding my payment and another regarding my SAR) and not had a response to any of them despite them being sent to the CEO, Ian hallett (ppi director) and customer.

Spoke to the FOS about this and they said that Lloyds TSB should pay within a reasonable timescale but there was no set time limit but if I was to take my complaint to them about this then it could be 6 months for this to be investigated, my guess is Lloyds know this and know most won't take it further for fear of delaying payment further.

Well I finally got a response from Andrea Barry, stating that my 5th payment was missed due to a technical fault on the system. They issued payment today via the clearance house automated payment system and it's already in my account this afternoon.

Glad I queried it now as god knows how long I would have been waiting and also if they missed my payment how many others have they missed.

Hope everyone else gets their payments soon though.

    Hello new user here
Just wanted to say got loads of help on the forums with my claim for PPI with Lloyds. I finally recieved payment yesterday in the form of a BACS payment straight into my account. I waited 71 days got my calculation letter on the 16th August if this helps anyone. I did email and call Lloyds every other day after the 21 day period was up to try and hurry payment up. I did have to pay a claims company a large chunk tho which i was gutted but still some money is better than none
