barclays 40 day wait for ppi

All my letters from Barclays say I should have heard from them by today. Postman has been and brought..... a letter for my husband for his overdraft ppi on his SOLE account (not yet his loans) which asks him to sign and send back - but he had an amount paid into our JOINT account on Wed, with a letter on Saturday with a previous (lesser) offer of ppi which he accepted???????? We have received letters about my personal loan on my sole ac!!!! addressed to my husband, and each time I ring Barclays they won't speak to me as I am not my husband - but it is MY account, not joint account, and MY loan, not a joint loan! Help!

can anyone tell me email address i had my 40day wait letter 24th august and sent my acceptance but they keep makinf excuses but havnt got an ewmail address

Husband emailed Bob Diamond and all HIS PPI has been refunded (although some into the wrong account?!). Think I will send Bob an email and see if I can get mine back, as I have now paid another £150 PPI since their estimation letter.

its 52 days wait for mine so far, my husband recieved a cheque for his 3wks ago and his letter was dated the 6th sept, mine was the 5th of sept and im still waiting. can anyone give me bob diamonds email please

Had my offer letter last week, sent back the acceptance form the next day. Phoned barclays today to ensure the form had been received.

Advisor on the line said she would be very surprised if I saw any redress paid THIS YEAR!

The offer letter made out that I would get the money and the loan restructure by the end of the month if the form was received by 21st November.

I mean how long does it take to credit an account and then restructure a loan!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

My forty days were up last Friday 11th November 2011.
Emailed Bob Diamond immediately 12th November 2011 stating diassapointment etc etc.
Sent another email this morning 10.00am reminding him that it is rude to not acknowledge receipt of emails!!!
Letter from his office received today 11.00am dated 15th November 2011 apologising and quoting FOS guidelines re: responses etc. ( Felt bad about the second email! ) 12.00am contacted Customer Relations and explained that I was awaiting payment not a final response and that the letter was therefore incorrect. Was told my claim was in the last stages of ' calculation '
3pm TELEPHONE CALL ( OOOHHH) from 'Bob Diamond's Office again apologising etc etc. Verbally agreed to paying arrears on current loan ( 60 quid) and was promised action within 48 hours !!!!

Phew!

SOOOOOOO I will leave it now til Friday before I check my account and begin the onslaught again!

Wish me luck and god bless you all for giving me the encouragement to take no nonsense!!!!
