barclays 40 day wait for ppi

hi all,

just wanted to know if anyone else is in the same boat, we got a letter from barclays stating the were upholding our ppi claim and we have to wait 40days for the money!!!!anyone else had a payout we have been waiting since september 6th :mad:

I've been waiting since 3rd Sept for nearly £7K.

its so fustrating!!!!please post on here when u get it then that will give us some hope!

I've had my "estimation", and the letter says they will contact me....that was two weeks ago. Think I will contact them myself if I get home early enough tomorrow. At this rate, they will contact me in 40 days, then repay after another 40.

HI All,

Just checked my bank, got my Barclaycard refund today from PPI reclaim commenced on 09/05/11.

A little better off now.:):):):):):):)

They did not however do as expected. They paid off the small balance of my card and then gave me the remainder even though I was not in arrears at all.

Never mind after waiting this long for payment to be made I guess I should not complain.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Still waiting for cheque, acceptance letter logged onto their system on 1st September 2011.

Mine are dated 7th October.

mine was for 14thsept emailed bob diamond trying to get more info might as well have told me to get lost .
