Good Evening all
Kids bathed, Im bathed, will chill out for a bit, then bed. All tho I craftily snook of to bed earlier for a nap, I could have slept for England!
We went to fetch OH's car, chap gave us the keys to have a good look and test drive. Sound little motor. OH pleased.
He lifted the bonnet, and the oil cap was missing, I no its only a slight thing, but didn't want to risk driving the distance home without it. So chap will get one in the week and drive it to us next wk end. He did try and get one whilst we waited at his, but to no avail. So its another week of walking to work for OH (typical - its started snowing here also).
Anyway, on the way back we popped to his parents house, as they've gone away for a week, and his mum said he could loan her car! She's only gone away and took the ruddy keys with her!!!
So he not been in the best of moods all day!
I did some more carrot cake again, when I got back, so plenty now to last all week.
Cracked on with the chores which needed doing.
Hope everyone else has had a productive day/wk end
Be back tomorrow
Good night all - Take care
Love as usual

Sorry, had a busy day. Don't know what you are up to.
Did coat 2 of windowsills and then over for DGS1 birthday party - fabulous. Just family - birthday actually this Tuesday coming. DGSs great plus their cousins and others who came too! Don't think DGS1 still has grasped the nettle because he said today when the cake came out - is it your birthday again Granny (we did cake and candles for me on Christmas day!) Bless him. DGS2 had a huge cuddle with me when I got him up from his sleep - he kept putting arms round me and doing snogs!
Looked at DD today and I think she has lost weight despite being due end of June. She has been so sick. She told us names they have picked today and they are lovely. DGS1 has my Dad's name as middle name, DGS 2 has my FIL name as middle name but No 3 will have no family names at all. They chose names because they liked them but nice to know there is a connection.
Hugs to those that need them today. Happy birthday to them that are celebrating.
Off to bed soon and love and kisses to all. Night night God bless, don't let the bugs bite!

Just put a stew in the SC, all ready for tomorrow. First time I've used it properly in a year so hope it turns out ok. SIL said to put it on high for an hour and then low all day tomorrow.

I usually put my SC on in the morning as I go to work, and then it's fine by tea time. You know you have to start it with boiling liquid don't you? Also if your SC has an Auto setting it does the high/low bit for you .Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
