    good morning everyone

now I feel so down and depleated about my life!
Does anyone else feel the same? I suddenly start to feel that I want to do something completely different - just start thinking that Ive lived in the same house, same area for yonks! Ive lost contact with my old friends since getting re-married and I do miss the girlie contact

Nothing wrong with 'living in the same house for yonks' Shez, but you could think about changing some things.
Giving your full attention to your new relationship is perfectly understandable but could you get back in touch with old friends now?

Anything you always fancied learning about? Hobbies?
Remember what moggins says about FlyLady - babysteps or you will try to change too much and give up. (Ask me how I know :embarasse )

    4ck6h79To you Nicky.

Good morning all, blue skies and sunshine here today but it is cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!! :D
Snowy - I have only ever had flu once and I thought I was dying, it was awful - way, way worse than any cold or chest infection. I sympathize wholeheartedly with you and hope you recover soon enough from it.

No real plans today, I've pottered and OH is fixing one of the fence panels that has come down during the winds. I'm working this afternoon/evening and looking forward to my day off tomorrow.
Have a good one everyone and -

Praying for you and your family AgeandJo

(((Hugs))) to Snowy hope you feel better soon

    Happy Birthday Nikki

My little baby no longer looks like a baby, yesterday I decided that i couldnt deal with her hair with no fringe in any longer so my SIL cut a really cute little fringe in, she looks so grown up (sob, sob). DH spent several hours sorting out SIL's PC so I feel like we have payed for the haircuts, I normally take her cakes and biscuits for the lunchboxes.

Today I need to get on with the usual Sunday get ready for the week ahead. I got 4 new tops and a pair of cords plus some new underware yesterday in town spent a grand total of £14 because of the vouchers I had. I'm going to go through my drawers this afternoon and throw away all my knackered clothes I fed up of looking like a refuge everybody else in this house is dressed smart I sometimes forget about my self.

    Have a good day everyone

PS. The decorating looks like its on hold DH is showing no signs of starting it.

    Morning all!

Happy Birthday wishes to nicki.

Hope you feel better soon, Snowy Owl. My little boy is feeling sorry for himself today with a cold. Luckily, he had a lie-in this morning as he was feeling rough so we all had a restful start to the day! ;)

Off to Tesco later so need to pull together a meal-plan, shopping list and hunt down some coupons. My New Year Resolutions holding up so far! :D

    Morning everyone

    Happy Birthday Nicki

Snowyowl, hope you feel better soon. "Real" flu is an absolute nightmare. Had it once and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Have had a small covering of snow here overnight. Not much though and the sun is out now and melting it.

    Plans for today are:

    Clean bathroom
    Strip bed and wash covers
    Tackle pile of ironing
And anything else that crops up!

Unsure what is for eating today. Went shopping on Friday but went totally unprepared and just seem to have got a mis-match of stuff. Still I am sure something can be thrown together!

    Bye for now

    Hello all,

I stripped the bed yesterday and completely forgot the new sheets were in the ironing...until I tried to get into bed. So, I gave up and just did all the ironing last night :j

Its a nice day today, we're going to see some friends who live right near Dartmoor, so might go and have a walk around up there. Also want to make jam tarts, I've got a sweater that needs handwashing and a paddle brush that needs cleaning out.

At some point, have to do the meal plan and shopping because I think I'll be going on a little holiday next week (Tuesday - Thursday)

    Have a good one. x

  • Hi everyone

Had a bit of a de-clutter this moring, waxed my legs, washed hair and am ready for the day.

Going to walk down to Sainsbury's later to get Birthday Card for Bloke. I also need to get some tights for work. Hope they've got them in stock.

Leftover Pizza today, as Bloke is finishing the kitchen so I'm not to use the cooker.

Think I may get my Slow Cooker out. Not really used it properly yet, my Mum bought it for me 3 years ago for Christmas. I'm a bit scared of it, she says put the stuff in it and turn it on low before I go to work and when I get in at 18:30 there will be full stew.

I get paranoid about my hair straightners. If I leave the SC on all day will it be all right, I won't come back to a burnt down flat?

Can anyone place me in a virgin SC thread please.

Morning all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICKI !!!!! Hugs to those who needs them.

Well I am pleased I'm going nowhere this afternoon as me and my son look like flour monsters, he had a bit of an ooopsy with the flour and we both ended up covered :rotfl: cakes iced by my son, pleased they are only eaten by the kids put it that way :D cake in the BM. First attempt at a cake in there doing chocolate chip, some for sons packed lunch as trying to reduce costs with that, bread came out nice again this morning :) so chuffed to bits with that.

Boys have had world war 3 already inc bust nose. Can just tell what kind of day it'll be when it starts before 10am! Puppy and dog were playing and managed to rip a huge hole in a jumper I have only worn once, not repairable so have had to bin it, not impressed at all. Argh stress!

Just added yesterdays shopping to total, not much left but that did include a lot of herbs and spices so I can stop using any jar sauces, try out curries and also ingredients to make bread, cakes etc, all of which will last me a while.

Need to try to get DPs suit clean ish for funeral tomorrow, hasn't been worn for 2-3 years and was dry cleaned before that, but needs waking up a little and there is a mark on the jacket I need to sponge off. Then got some ironing to do inc his shirt.

Hope everyone has a good day :)
One day I might be more organised...........

    Many Happy Returns Nikki
    (((Ageandjo)))
and (((hugs))) to all those feeling under the weather.

Is bright and sunny here today - lovely - dont mind the cold if it stays dry. DS football has also been cancelled to waterlogged pitch but am off at 1pm to take DD riding.

Apart from that having a lazy day today, will be finishing the ironing but that is just a couple of bits. Had an unexpected girls night out last night and gonna take it easy today. Puppy is doing really well, very few accidents. Pity we cant take him out yet, he is 5 months old but only had 1 injection so we have to wait another month. He really is a joy to have around though.

Got to make some lunch in a min though have no idea what to have before shooting out. Minted lamb chops, roast & mashed pots and veg for tea.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
