Afternoon all. Am feeling rather under the weather today and I really hope it's not flu. Didn't get out of bed properly until about 2pm having had some lemsip, which managed to take the edge off the aches and pains and the constant feeling cold.
I had intended to catch up on lots of housework today, as yesterday I couldn't do much as they were hanging doors, so I didn't bother (any excuse me). Not sure how much I'm going to get done given how I feel, thankfully the BF will cook dinner - yay !! We did manage to go to Tesco though and didn't buy anything that wasn't on the list, we're getting better at doing that (finally)
Managed to get the garden tidied up at bit yesterday and planted my raspberry canes. We have so many birds coming into the garden now I almost feel bad for wanting to go out there as it seems like it's their space. At one point the BF counted 20 house sparrows on the ground and feeders plus several more in the hedge and on the fence.
Right am going to see how many of the jobs that need doing I can get done before I collapse again.
Happpy Birthday Nicki and enjoy your pizza.
Hugs to everyone and hope you all have a great day.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Afternoon Guys
Well I have been snoozing off and on and not too much done here. OH has taken DD out for a walk, so very quiet here ATM.
Lunch was lovely and enough left to freeze a roast dinner;) Managed to sort a kitchen cupboard out and found some shreddies out of date June 2006 and a few odds and sods-so have binned them. Also cleaned out the fridge, not that it took long as theres not much in:D Managed to wash all the dusters that were piling up in basket and will put a white wash on in abit as I havent done one for over a week now:o
Have taken out from the freezer a Taste The Difference Cornish pasty for OH's lunch tomorrow (reduced to 5p) and a portion of Shepards Pie for me. Also grabbed out a packet of TTD sausages (reduced to 10p) to make a cassarole with tomorrow in the SC. I have no big spuds in to bake but have some new potatoes left so will bung those in along with onion, swede, a carrot and some frozen veg as I have no fresh left:eek:
Anyway, will put the WM on then make a cuppa.
Hugs to all.

I read through the thread, The guy who posted it was complaining that you got thanked just for posting your picture, which made more people thank you. He then complained a bit more, and someone said if he posted his pic people might thank him. Then someone else said, maybe if you posted her picture (=yours Angel) then he'd probably get more thanks. And so it went on.
I don't think any harm was meant, but if you're really upset either report it, or maybe PM him and say you would prefer he didn't use your pic or something.0 -

He has left another unwhitty comment, perhaps I was wrong and should stay within the walls of Moneysaving OS. Thought I was posting my pic so we can put faces to names obviously wrong. Won't do that again
I was just shocked to see my face turn up again in another thread.
Had the last laugh when no one thanked him for putting my picture up and then I got thanked for quoting him with my picture still displayed.HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE?: OLYMPIC CHALLENGE 2008BRONZE 10% SILVER 25% GOLD 50% PLATINUM 75%'Don't Stop me now, I'm cooking on Gas!' - Peggy Ollerenshaw - Hi-De-Hi!0 -

The Arms is a very different board angelselondon and Im afraid you are not always going to get the nice polite response you get in OS. To be fair to The Boss I dont think it was anything to do with your picture itself it was to do with the number of thanks.
Some people believe that thanks are given too liberally (:rotfl: good job they dont post on here then:rotfl: ) I would drop him a little pm to say you want him to remove your piccy from his post then you can edit yours and jobs a good un! Then in the future stay in the nice warm cosy kitchen of OS unless youre up for a few fights:D0
