Well I am watching CDWM, twiddling with our website, and getting ready for the party - got pants on so as not to startle the cat, have dabbed fave parfum (brut!:D) behind each knee just in case I pull and have got plenty of kitchen roll handy in case the alien comes back.

Can I take the clingfilm off the pork pies yet?

daisiegg that tray cake sounds amazing. Any chance of a piece and the recipe please? :D I make crumble cakes with a sponge base and then fruit and crumble on top. Great way of using up tinned peaches when you have forgotten about the 6 tins of them in the cupboard and buy yet more.

I have a bottle of hazelnut baileys and lots of ice if anyone would like a glass.

Thanks littlecal and those that liked my post. The woman's husband put the money through the letterbox in an envelope. I have to admit that I started crying after opening it. It is just such a huge relief. It now means I can go to the Sainsburys toy sale tomorrow and The Book People warehouse sale on saturday and buy some christmas presents. I might have a small drink or two to celebrate tonight.

I've found the self heating pads useful for back pain. The one use ones that you stick to your clothes. I think the brand name is curaheat, but I get mine in the pound shop.

I must have missed this - what on earth happened?
