OLD TRACTOR C'MON CHECK YOUR PMs WOMAN!
I had an exhausting day but enjoyed meself. The hair is very short and spiky and almost all the dye is out. One more cut and it will be pure grey and then I can start dyeing it all over again!! whoohoo lol
Hi all, I've just checked my pm's and am VERY touched. THANK YOU . I've lurked for a few days and have been giving things thought. I have concluded that often I am my own worst enemy. I try to do so much and sort of act like superwoman,at the moment[not literally] I am painting the dresser and kitchen cupboards, big job, only the first coat of undercoat so far and thats not complete. I am also doing the Flylady stuff, baking and so on. I am getting the veg plot into a sort of order and am looking after animals and family and have recently taken up running well, sort of jogging really. I will insist of baking loads of goodies for son to take back to his digs and things for my other son's son,my grandson. in otherwords i am doing toooo much, including helping out a couple of friends with stuff too, shopping and tidying their place whilst they are unwell. I have given myself a good talking to and have set aside more time to relax [if I can] more me time, more rewards and must learn to enjoy it,in my 50's I deserve to do the odd thing for me, I think and not feel guilty about it. its ok to have fun. hopefully this will stop me loosing my rag and getting upset and shouting at people when I'm stressed and trying to do a sunday lunch whilst juggling a million other things. Also being of a competitive nature I am obsessed with money saving and have been driving myself to a frazzle with it, shaving pennies and pounds off here and there and begrudging spending,so last night I went out and BOUGHT a ready made curry for the evening meal, big step, believe me,and I even enjoyed eating it!
Thank you again my friends maybe one day I will learn to take life a bit easier.

    Fantastic:j
  • congratulations to everyone who has had a nice day/good news :j

Thanks for the back pain advice, I have suffered for years on and off but this last week has been quite bad. Usually after a good down pour of rain it eases a little so hopefully the heavens will open tonight.

Must start diet tomorrow as even a couple of extra pounds does make a difference and I am a good stone over what I am comfortable at.

Spent most the day watching carp films taking it easy. Kids had whoopsie corned beef slices (two packs 20p each) instant mash and beans. I only have instant mash for extreme emergencies but today I could not stand to peel any spuds :o.

On a plus side I have not spent any money today, the gas and leccy DD have stayed the same and the mortgage statement has come today and I have managed to pay off £400 extra this year. Not a huge amount but better than nothing :)

Must shoot as the moggies are hunting in pack formation as they can smell the leftover corned beef, I am sure I have hidden it well but they are pesky, resourceful little blighters when they want to be.

What colours could aI go next?? Not blue thankyou, the edna everage look is SO not me! Purple if the RV would let me. Pink is a possibility. What else is there? I would LOVE to go back to black but the RV would seriously seriously kill me after the money I've spent trying to get rid of it !

i use semi permanents which last 24 washes (so about 6 months for me lol) and there are some deeper colours. However purple or pink would both be fabulous. I am tempted to retunr to the pillar box red of my youth...
