Mardatha - have a great time. Beautiful sunny morning so I hope it keeps up for your wander about the shops. Didn't know Jenners was being done up. The coffee shop bit next to the beautifying bit is where I meet up with Dsis and DD. Not very Jenners-like place but you always get a table! hhhmmm think I've said this before. Getting old.
Having a glass of water at the moment. Remind me again how much I love water. I don't need reminding of how much I like red wine.

Getting haircut at Jenners which isnt in Jenners anymore cos they renovating it, so its in Regis in the Waverly market. Then a quick gallop (actually a slug walk) round the shops in there and then up for the bus. Might manage John Lewis if I feel good. Whoohooo FREEDOM! :T:T:T
Ohhhhh have a lovely day ... ages since I've been "into town" - love it at Christmas with the German market - hopefully the foot will be fixed by then and I'll be able to have a trawl around.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Morning Kimsmum, sorry you missed the party, it was a doozie!
BB - I'm sure OH will be giving up his lads nights out too! No? Well there you go! I know what my answer would have been!
He doesn't have lads nights out.
Ive been out with a friend for drink and a meal etc and it's not a problem but if I am "clubbing" and getting in late it's suddenly an issue. Not the first time we've had this conversation I suppose I was just checking that I am not actually being unfair and one of those women who really should call it a day but doesnt want to accept it :rotfl::rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Juliett, am in stitches here at the search for the half zombie. The RV suggested doing a Wilt - get a blowup doll and bury it in the garden..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Did we have nuclear fallout or an explosion on the sun?
yesterday I got a different thread when I clicked on the link for this thread in my bookmarks then the internet went down in the afternoon and did not come back on by the time I went to bed. I could not be bothered then to find out why.
This morning had a look and all my connections had dissappeared off my computer! The radio in the kitchen had changed from R2 to absolute radio.
I finally got the internet up and running but not the wireless because I will have to find the disk for that as that has gone as well although the shortcut is still there.
I did a few jobs in the house then sat down for a minute to do a search for something and decided to pop in here also. I clicked on the new link I did yesterday and got a weightloss thread! I had to search for you again.I missed your party but will catch up later on what went on,I hope you behaved yourselves:p.
I have to do more housework now. My dd1 is coming with the grandchildren. Bye for now.0 -

Mardatha that book was so funny. I am reading Blot on the landscape at the moment. Enjoy your freedom today and the hair cut.
Bitsy you are never too old for dancing, get out there and enjoy yourself.
All of the household is finally up. Oh just about to make a start oin the radiators.
Have invited friend and his daugther round for a meal tonight (went to his wifes funeral on Monday). Can not decide what to cook but thinking that they have not had many meals with veg in the last couple of weeks so might do a roast chicken dinner.

I decided to have one evening not using my pooter and doing some studying instead, and I missed a party.
On the positive side, it looks like I missed the clearing up, too.
I hope you all had a fantastic time and all the nasty headaches have gone by now.
I didn't have time to make myself a packed lunch for work this morning (I was too busy fighting to empty the bin - I really need to work out a way to stop the bin bag sliding down inside as it makes it very difficult to get it out again) - I must go something to eat in a minute but it's pouring with rain and I'm struggling to find any enthusiasm to go outside).
I'm another TP fan, BTW - my favourites are the wizard ones, probably because I work in a university. (Not that a real university is anything like the weird UU - at all. In any way.) I must do some more surveys during my lunchtime as I only need a few more points to have enough to exchange for a voucher I can use to buy the new TP book (so don't tell me what happens in it, please!).
Right - outside into the sog I go!Back after a very long break!0
