Afternoon all!
I just rang my mobile phone provider (v!rg!n) and asked for a better deal as I am out of contract with them....reduced from £22 to £11 a month, with a new Blackberry and more texts in a month than I could use in two or threeAm so chuffed
This will be the first time I have got a new phone from them - though Hubby seems to get a new one each year and he's on a cheaper contract than me - and I always feel discgruntled. So this time, I am chuffed
I've never 'ad a Blackberry
So I want to hear nothing horrid about them, only how fabulous they are. Lie if you have to
I have asked for a violet one0 -
I have a blackberry for work... A very basic one, and its great. You'll love it, because it will be new, violet and shiny...0

Well I got my 2 secondhand shabby chic items and I painted them up this arvo, that was the good news.........Now for the bad news, Ibooked a cortizone injection with my Dr last week for my planta faciitis in my feet and the appointment came at 4.50 today, well ive never had so much pain with a injection in my body ever:eek::eek::eek::eek:Dam I shouted out to the dr, I truthfully expect the Dr in the next room must have heard me, and im not a wimp and im use to injections cos im diabetic I do it 4 times daily..........and my poor foot bled, I just hope it was worth it cos I dont think I can go through that again,I was warned by quite a few people that its very painful to have.........
So im keeping off my feet for the next 12 hours..............Why is everything against us at times?poor hubby not well either, his epilepsey is all over the place, so now waiting for a neuro app for him, he musnt fit tonight and end up in a&e cos I cant get on my feet.......... Oh shegar, I'm sorry to hear that it was so painful
. I hope you manage to rest up your feet tonight and that your DH remains well for the whole night. I've probably worded that wrongly but hope you know what I mean?

I had to have a cortisone injection in my achilles tendon years ago. I think I was lucky because the actual injection was just about bearable, it was just the after effects which were really painful - the cortisone starting to do its work.
My DH has had to have cortisone in his elbow a couple of times and I've never seen anyone look so grey afterwards - he said it was agony. He's had tennis elbow since then, but has refused to have another cortisone injection. Luckily it does seem to (eventually) right itself (though it does take many months).0 -
Busy day here today (again!). I've got the 3rd load of washing in the machine. 1st is on the line, 2nd is in the TD and 3rd is about to be hung out over the bannisters and where ever else I can find to hang it
.
I have filled one side of the hallway wall and will do the other side later. I said to DH earlier that I might paper it with lining paper and he said if I was going to do that, then I might as well get an embossed paper. I popped along to the big orange store but couldn't see anything which grabbed my fancy so will just continue to do my best with filling and white paint until it's at a level where I can just paint it. I don't want it to take too long as we will have a house full of people for DS's birthday soon.
DS has lost his swimming kit- gah! So I've had to send him swimming with shorts today. Most annoying. Hence the mad washing frenzy. I'm going to be absolutely shattered tonight (again, I fell asleep in the bath again last night and was in bed at 9.30pm). I honestly don't think DH realises how hard I work on my days off here!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
