Well done you - I think I should employ you to come and do my shopping for a week! I'd like a W store near me but I supermarket shop in Cumbernauld and I don't think you'd tempt folks away from farmfoods for W*******:)
Mr A sometimes has some whoopsies when I'm in however it's usually early in the day, I guess the trick is to go later as they reduce them further I think.
It's now howling a gale here (again) and we've had another severe weather warning. Looks like the rest of the week is going to be bumpy!0 -

Hi Shelley - Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. If its SAD, I have had great success this year with Vit D tablets - i've suffered for 18 years and this year, not a hint of depression and after the year I have had, that is nothing short of a miracle.
Hope you feel better soon xx
Well, our 34p whoopsied fillet steak was absolutely divine! Still cannot believe I was lucky enough to grab such a bargain :j I wish it was always cheap - I could cheerfully live on fillet steak every day! Also, checked original price and it was £8.58
I had a scare this morning - damn lappy wouldn't work  A load of error messages that wouldn't budge and then just a black screen so I ctrl alt del several times, hit the enter button hoping that there was something going on behind the blackness and it turned off! Success... waited 10 mins then tried again and it worked phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
I really must get an external hard drive and back up stuff - not much on here that I really would miss as most pics are on FB but not all, and all my invoices for my business are on here too but they would be easily enough photocopied from the office.
I need to get outside and cut some wood as we have the golden orb here and I want a big roaring fire tonight... for free
Have a good day everyone :beer:0 -
Waitrose is coming near me in the Spring and I cannot wait! It will be opposite Lidl so I can shop between the two. I would love to work for the former as they have a very good reputation.0

I've been busy painting today and have done 3 coats on my hallway. Now that I've sat down though, it's freezing! So I'm orf in a minute to find myself some jumpers and do a bit of knitting. I'll have to move the step ladder first though because it's blocking the stairs. Unfortunately, the walls in the hallway are so awful that they will take an awful lot of filling. It would be best if DH would skim it but he's not going to so I need to just get on with it. Can't bear the thought of it staying like it is for any longer so I'm just doing a makeshift job until it's been done properly.
Not sure about the ceiling though, I can't see where I've painted it but I can tell it needs painting IYSWIM? I'm not tall enough to do it well even with the extension pole but DH is much taller so he will probably just have to suck it up and do it. I can't do ladders they make me very green. I hope he likes it when he comes home and sees how hard I've worked

Afternoon all.
Frugal - thanks for reminding me that I really must get some Vitamin D tablets to try. (Although I must also find more time to use my lightbox - I haven't used it much recently and it's left me feeling decidedly 'off'.)
I'm also feeling a bit grumpy as it looks like the bracelets I got from the Amaz0n sale are faulty and will have to go back - they look lovely, but that's no use if you can't open them to put them on.
Right - that's the end of my lunch break - back to work. Sigh.Back after a very long break!0
