how do i delete this one below its not on the add or remove programmes list

go into c:\windows\tasks and delete the google update task
clicked on my computer and then the c drive icon what do i do now ?0 -

if there are any google update services left running after a reboot, disable them by going into services.msc
uninstall winpcap in control panel, add/remove!!

uninstall pcap if you haven't done it already
reboot, note and post commit charge, post a fresh hijackthis log
and if your original problem in ie is still happening, post more details after resetting ie to defaults under tools, internet options, advanced, and also check 3rd part addons are enabless on same screen, uninstall google toolbar if you have it
