Help has my computer had it ?

Options
I am having so many problems with my computer. i think my only option is to get a new one. Had it about 5 years and today i couldnt get i player to watch as it said download adobe player 10 ( which i had done ) couldnt get into my online banking as well .
There is now a message running at the top which says " Internet explorer is running with add on's disabled. click here to manage or disable or remove " - which i have clicked on but dont know what it all means.
I know i can get to display the memory and speed etc but not sure how to do it. so someone could advise me what i should do and whether it's woth upgrading the systme or getting a new one
what about all my photos and documents. How would i get these on to my new computer if need be ???
thank you

Brand name and model? Check how much RAM is installed by using your keyboard to press and hold the Flying Windows key and whilst holding it down pressing the Pause Break key. List the OS version listed there too.

at the top of the forum, have a look at how to speed up a slow or infected PC, and follow steps where possible
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

You probably don't need a new computer if it was working fine for you before the latest problem (especially if you're the student in other posts, or even the student's mother!)
You need to make a copy of important photos and documents as a backup regardless of what you do. Does the computer have a DVD drive that can write DVDs?
If you are able to copy all files you need onto something else, then a factory restore may sort out the problem. You'll probably get lots of help with that on here if you just say what computer it is and the operating system it has, which I would guess is XP from its age.

    Edit:
Missed the last few posts, so more data already here.

Download, install, update and run a Quick Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.

Next, download, install and run the HijackThis Version 2.0.3 installer and use the Quick Start guide to enable you to produce a log for posting here too.

Update is an option you'll get once it's installed. Doing the procedure mentioned may well sort it out and is less painful than a factory restore, which will wipe out everything you've put on the computer since it was new.
Consider getting a USB stick or two to keep a copy of your documents and photos on anyway. You're at risk without a backup.
