Im guessing he didnt park in a marked bay. The so called parking invoice is not valid anyway so ignore. Pop over to the Pepipoo site if he wants any more holding of his hand.

I believe your guess is incorrect - TL failed to inform the OP/'person' to enter his VRM into their console on arrival, & thus CP Plus were unaware that he/she was their guest for the night.

The OP is 'bombproof' & should cease worrying about CP Plus & completely ignore them as already advised.
A letter of complaint to TL would not go amiss accompanied by his/her own administration charge to them of say £80.
  • Thanks Hadeon
yes I did park in a marked bay and it was in the Travelodge area which is separate from the main car park
  • this is just a thought

The Dale Farm residents that are being removed today will probably want some temporary parking not too far away.
The service area THURROCK is at junction 30 on the M25 and is only 16 miles and a 25 minute drive

Just out of interest why are the service area facilities not used more by these Travelllers? At a £10 charge for a stay of longer than 2 hours this must be a temendous bargain for someone who wants to stay there for a few months or years

Agreed, - a similar point was made by Sirdan, I believe, on another very recent thread.

Should we blacklist all Moto service Areas
If I was a traveller and overstayed, where would the PPc send the invoice?

Only Joking, they would send it to whatever accomodation address the DVLA had, but would get an automatic ignore...
  • More reasons More reasaons More reasons
More reasons to park at Morrisons

    Dalkeith is too far away
now where is Dalkeith, it must be a big tourist area or something
  • And they could park at Waitrose in Thurrock,
there is no mention of car parking charges on the Waitrose web site, only thing I could find was on their forum and this statement included in a reply to a questioner Wherever it can Waitrose is keen to provide unlimited free parking.
Have a look yourself at http://www.waitrose.com/home/forum/non_food_topics/car_parking_at_waitrose_in_worthing.html

Nope, not always. I know of a Waity's in Sussex that uses Britannia Parking.
