    Exactly. They were not interested in doing anything at all until I informed them that the switch not completing in 14 days was down to them and not me. He then said as it was only 1 day over he thinks I will get the £200 but he is not authorised to do it hence complaint being made.

    There was no requirement for the switch to be completed in 14 days. Mine took nearly 2 months and I have received the £200.
    The requirement was that the switch was applied for within 14 days of account opening.

    Even better! I recorded the phone call anyway so it will be interesting if they refuse the £200 given the manager has lied to me.

    Did you inform them that you were recording the phone call? If not then you could be in trouble should you depend on that recording.

    I have truecall and always inform every company I telephone that I will be recording the call :T

    "SPITTING FEATHERS" doesn't even come close; I've just been told that I'm not eligible for the £200 switching fee, as I didn't open the account in October and use the switching service within 14 days.
