Exactly. They were not interested in doing anything at all until I informed them that the switch not completing in 14 days was down to them and not me. He then said as it was only 1 day over he thinks I will get the £200 but he is not authorised to do it hence complaint being made.0 -

There was no requirement for the switch to be completed in 14 days. Mine took nearly 2 months and I have received the £200.

Even better! I recorded the phone call anyway so it will be interesting if they refuse the £200 given the manager has lied to me.0 -

"SPITTING FEATHERS" doesn't even come close; I've just been told that I'm not eligible for the £200 switching fee, as I didn't open the account in October and use the switching service within 14 days.
