After having originally been told early March several times, then finally promised it by the end of March, I called today prepared for war; armed with a list of times/dates of phone calls, names and quotes.

I opened the call in a polite manner and let them know unfortunately I was calling to complain. A manager/team leader came on the line, apologised, promised to send an email to the switching team to have my fee paid by the end of the week and offered £15 compensation because 'they hadn't kept their word'.

Since I was expecting £200 for a 3 month process, I'm happy to accept an additional £15 for an extra weeks delay. I'll probably be pressing for more if the Friday deadline isn't met. Normally I'd have pushed for more straight away, but I find honesty, polite attitudes and apologies quite disarming.

    Will keep everyone updated

FYI, my switching date was 2nd Nov, so they're definitely running late.

    Congratulations :)

I was just told that the incentive is being paid in date order, but as my switching date was 6th December and I've not received my £200, that's obviously not the case
This really hasn't been handled well, the Co-Op were probably overwhelmed by applications, and aren't geared up to deal with the numbers who wanted to make use of the deal.
    C'mon you Canaries!!

That's (the gist of) the argument they presented to me this week when I asked them where my £200 was (switch date end November).

I countered by reminding them they'd had 5 months notice of the upcoming workload, and cost to their business*, being as the offer was closed at the end of October last year.

    * Another of their arguments was that the financial 'hit' meant they had to spread some of the payments into April.

    Just an update
I was told I'd receive the money by the end of the week and that I'd get a call from someone who was dealing with my complaint on Thursday. Still had nothing so I called and demanded they put the money in as I needed it for the weekend. £200 showed in my account the next day and my complaint was escalated.

    Congrats Shenanigan...
I've send written complaint a week ago as I couldn't stand those CS chaps, each saying different reasons for not paying me the reward.
Now I have to wait 8 weeks , before I refer to F.O.S:(

I didn't want to go down that route and risk prolonging things, so merely informed branch advisor (who did my original application) last week that I was considering this option over Easter.

Today I've logged on and my £200 has been paid.

Switch date was 27/28 November, so I must have been at the very back of the queue!

There can't be many more people still waiting?

Still waiting for mine - switch date 12th December, £800+ paid in around 15th of December onwards.

Will chase them up if not paid by 12th April.

I had an awful problem with switching from Nationwide as I was told 'the system' kept rejecting the Direct Debits so someone keyed them in manually. Was told this would not effect the bonus, and I do have a letter saying 12th Dec was my switch date..

I'm still waiting too. I rang Co-Op CS again today, to be told the same line as last week, that the payment should be made by the end of April.
I (very nicely) asked if a note could be added to my account, to express my dissatisfaction that we are now in month 5, and the incentive has not been received.
    C'mon you Canaries!!
