Well the decs are up.
Honestly, this house is lit up like Blackpool and my electricity monitor is having a heart attack
At least the neighbours had a laugh watching me grapple with the outside lights and a step ladder

oh......... and the best bit.......

Hah typical, bet they are enjoying the fruits of your hard work though!! My christmas deccies are lame in comparison to yours hehe, a teeny tree with some decorations and a couple of bits of tinsel... oh well, I'll have to build up my decoration collection next year when I have some spare money!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Good morning dear diary,
I have another day off today and have big plans with what to do with it.
I have a man coming this morning to see whether I qualify for the free loft and cavity wall insulation that was in Martin's email :money: a week or two back. I hope I do, and I hope it makes a difference. I would love to lower my heating bill a little bit further
I have paid two minimum payments to my debts this morning and PADed a little bit to F/Mans. I like this PADing thing, well I do when it's all going to plan anyway
My tax credits went in and my spreadsheet is all up to date with my bank account and my current balance ends in lovely round figures - OCD????? (or cdo in alphabetical order) Nooooooo...not me
I am wrapping, wrapping and then possibly wrapping some more while I have the house to myself and then two essays to actually get down on (virtual) paper instead of going round and round in my head and all the usual housework. I am determined to be a busy bee today instead of lounging around in front of my laptop doing not a blimmin' lot
I also had a run of 2 NSD's over the weekend, which I am quite pleased with considering the time of year and (if all goes to plan) it will be another one today
I know I'll be spending tomorrow (diesel) and Wednesday (lunch out) so I haven't got many other opportunities this week. I'm guessing next Sunday will be one
but I have been known in the past to have a quick surf to see if there are any sales/bargains on Christmas day
The new improved freeby will not be doing any of that, thank you very much.
Have a great day xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Back to work today
but only a three day week
Family allowance went into bank account this morning for about 30 seconds before it was paid back out again. Another minimum payment paid
and the good news is that I am getting these paid earlier and earlier in the month. It doesn't make any difference to them but it's a little step forward to me
I also PADed another little payment of £2.54 across to F/mans, so everyday that's coming down a little further
Managed another NSD yesterday but won't today or tomorrow. My car will not run on fresh air so I'll have to put diesel in, but, less than usual as I'm only travelling for three days this week. Any diesel that is lying in my tank over the holiday is dead money and I would rather it was in my bank account making it look slightly healthy.
Nothing much else to report. The wee manny came round yesterday and I have a date for getting my free insulation
Thank you Martin :money:.
One of the random items I had on ebay sold yesterday after about the fifth time of relisting! so I must post that today too. I hope they weren't wanting it for Christmas because they have no chance! I think I will email them when it's posted to let them know that although I've sent it I can't be responsible for whether the Royal Mail gets it to them on time or not!!! I don't want an email requesting a refund because of it.
I have a little bit in my paypal account but I am just going to leave it there for now and try to slowly build it as I attempt to ebay more stuff. It might come in handy for next Christmas :rotfl:

Hopefully it should be a nice quiet day today.
Off to work and then out for a cheap (chip shop) lunch with my work colleagues, a bit more pretending to be doing something and then home again to a empty house. The kids finish school today and my mum is going to collect them from there and take them to her house for the night so I can wrap all their gifts from Santa. I am then going to my bff's for drinks and mince pies and to exchange prezzies and then home to bed.
Checked the bank account this morning and all is well - no money in
but no money out
Which is exactly how I budgeted it. :T Don't ya just love it when a plan comes together? Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
