Thank you everyone for your get well wishes. :happyhear

I still feel carp today though and so I'm having another day off work. There is no point going, not only will I sit there feeling awful all day, I'll just pass it on to everyone else in the office :( Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :)

Never managed to get to the post office yesterday so I really must go today or I'll be getting negative feedback off the lovely ebayers who bought my stuff. I have things finishing this weekend that already have bids so if I don't get going I'll be playing catch up next week and I hate not being organised.

I can declare yesterday a NSD :) so that's 6 this month (helloooooooo knitty.......where are yoooooooooooo), also a journey of diesel saved and another journey today :) I know it's because I'm off sick and I can't really count it as a saving but now I shouldn't have to buy any fuel until payday next week :)

One week to payday, everything is paid, 1 debt paid off completely and money in various pots both virtual and physical. I've still got a very long way to go but right at this moment I feel a little debt lighter.

Have a good day everyone, I am off to obsess over my spreadsheets again and try not to breathe on my children (although DD2 was complaining of a sore throat and head at bed time last night.........me thinks she sees an oppotunity for a day off school :))

As I suspected DD2 is staying off school today. She certainly looks poorly and so I have doped her with Calp0l and let her go back to sleep. :(
DD1 is not a happy bunny, as she put it "am I the only one going out to earn a crust today?" :) (she's still at school too so how she thinks she's earning is beyond me???)

Now DD2 and I will have to fight for couch and cozy blanket space - think I will stake my claim early! lol.

:TYou can't see it, but since you are really too ill to expend the energy, I'm doing the 'happy, happy, in financial control, happy, happy' dance for you around my living room...there is much leg kicking and booty shaking involved, so it really is rather strenuous for a poorly person - but you've done brilliantly, and it deserves the dance no matter who does it.

Sorry to hear DD2 is poorly. Kick her off the sofa though - she young, and will bounce.

As for DD1 - I was going to write someing 'thick-ear' related, except I think she sounds very funny...and we shouldn't stifle the funny in our kids, now should we? So sneeze on her instead. ;)

    Take care....:coffee:

Thank you for your dance. I can feel your happy vibes.
I however have no problem in the booty shaking department, I just need to walk from one place to another and my booty shakes (wobbles) without even having to try :)

You've got 2 stars :j When did that happen :T

I have to admit DD1 is one of the funniest people I know, she has an amazing sense of humour but also an amazing temper ........... so I got off quite lightly this morning :)

Feeling any more human as the day progresses?

I think the answer might be in the negative :)

Well, here I am again (happy as can be........and so on)

Not much to report this morning.

I am feel better :) but am not fit for purpose yet :( so I'm not going to work again today. I have a day's leave booked for Friday anyway (for going to London) so I think I will just resign myself to taking tomorrow off too. I haven't been off sick from work for nearly a year so why do I feel so guilty???

Checked bank account and updated spreadsheets this morning. 6 days to payday and all is well. :j

Bought a Christmas present for my BFF on ebay yesterday, some Molton Brown bits. We set ourselves a budget of £10 and they cost £8.50 (inc p&p) so not only did I buy it with the things I have sold on ebay but I saved £1.50. Just waiting on them arriving now. I have my fingers crossed they will be okay. :undecided
Speaking of ebay, I didn't get the parcels posted again yesterday so I sent them a message explaining the reasons why. It made me feel better to let them know I had a genuine reason for not posting and wasn't just being a lazy article!
More stuff is selling too so I'll be able to purchase more prezzies next week. I feel like Christmas is under control this year unlike other years when I felt it was all running away from me and I had to spend spend spend to keep up. :)

What else........oh yeah.......NSD number 7 yesterday. It's easy when you don't leave the house :D

Sorry to hear you are poorly sick :( I know one of the best ways to spend a dull November day s under a blanket on the sofa, but it's better without the attendent (attendant? I can't remember) symptoms. I am guessing you are over the worst now? Go on taking care of yourself though - and enjoy the weekend, it sounds fab!

(If you don't go I am sure one of us would force ourselves to take your place).

    And :j:j:jwell done :j:j:jon Littlewoods!

    Thank you Miggy.

Has anyone else been collecting the Sun Perks tokens. I don't buy a daily paper (part of my MSE ways) but a friend does and has been collecting the tokens for me. She has just phoned to say I have 1500 perk points!!!!! I'd forgotten all about it.

    So I went on-line and I have picked out 2 x dvd's for DD2 and a bayliss & harding gift set for BFF2. 3 more prezzies for nothing. :j

Thank heavens for good friends who buy a daily paper :)
