Mizmir - just seen your sig about not wasting food (cake is very efficient in this respect); what a good idea. I feel bad as I've just had to throw some milk away... (can't even use it to make scones till I have an oven again).
It is the Don't throw food away challenge!0

Thank you everyone for all the Birthday wishes, I am very honoured
So far today I have done..........well, not very much really...
3 loads of washing, some on the line, some in the TD
Scrubbed the kitchen floor (blimmin' dog)
 Hoovered through the entire house
Supervised the joiner who is finishing off the bathroom
So far a NSD but it's still a long time until bedtime.
I have bought a Christmas prezzie for my nephew on ebay which I paid for out of my ebay sales so no cost to me :T
 and
I have started a little jar which I have lovingly named "The Dross Jar" into which I will put all the change (10p and under) I get until I have a bankable amount Not sure what I'll do with it when I get a bankable amount because my bank doesn't have one of those counting machines and I'm a little bit 'bank teller phobic' In fact those snooty lot behind the counter give me palpatations just thinking about them. That's the trouble with a small town, everyone knows everyone and I can't bear the thought of somebody I've gone to school with/worked with in a previous life/been in the pub with trying to talk to me about the state of my finances.
Ohhhhhhh I've went all weird thinking about it. Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150

            Hello, good morning and welcome.
Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes, you are all lovely people and I wish I'd met you years ago (for lots of reasons).
I had a lovely birthday and was spoiled rotten. Cash, jewelry (sp?), smelly stuff and CHOCOLATE - what more could a girl want? And it's not over yet. Tonight I am going out with my two bestest mates in the whole wide world for a meal and drinks and as per tradition it is all on them :j I'm a lucky girl (well woman, but I much prefer girl).
Yesterday was another NSD.....number 4 and 4 in a row (are you keeping up knitty?) I did spend £8.99 on a Christmas prezzie for my nephew on ebay but it came from my ebay sales money so I'm not counting that because it's money I've never had (if you know what I mean). It was a complete bargain. £8.99 (free p&p) for something that costs £19.99 in the shops and from money I didn't have at the beginning of the month so it's a winner all round I'm a little bit chuffed with myself :T I'm a little bit chuffed with myself :T
As it is the weekend I am, once again, pouring over my shopping list and will head off to Mr T soon. I need very little due to kind generous people feeding us all when we went to their houses scrounging showers (bathroom not usable all week, well......we had a toilet and not a hole in the back garden but no bath or shower). I will be updating you all with how much I spend later (whether you like it or not).
I don't need fuel until about Tuesday I reckon and I begged a 5p a litre coupon off my mum last night as she had 3!!! 3, I ask you? Why has she not used them? My mum is clearly not very MSE!!!!!! I'm hoping they don't say "This is not your coupon, burger off" when I present it!!!!
Speaking of bathrooms (were we? when? oh yes!)
For the first time in 4 (yes 4) weeks I now have a working, usable shower. I shall say little apart from "I'm sorry, kissing and hugging you then sobbing uncontrollably on your shoulder was highly inappropriate" to the plumber/joiner/god sent angel who completed it last night!
I'm off to check my ebay listing and then to line up all the things I want to get on this weekend, then off to Mr T but first I'm going to..........

Hey lucielle, thank you for subscribing.........and sticking with it to read to the end
I haven't snowballed but I have an exact idea (in my head) how I want to tackle these debts. I might not be doing it the right way but it'll be the way that makes me feel better personally (if you know what I mean). Thanks for the birthday wishes and I had a lovely shower :heartsmilOy Freeby ~ that's long enough in the shower now ~ think of the water meter

Morning saorsie, Living in Scotland I don't have to worry (too much) about horrible water bills :T So I was in that shower for about half an hour fiddling with knobs and such...... (that just sounds wrong ) ......it was lovely. ) ......it was lovely.
I am officially in love with my new walk in, full length of the bathroom, seperate drying area super duper shower. :jFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
