Good DFW day today.

I spent nothing, sold some bits on ebay and listed some bits on ebay of which one has a bid already and two have watchers

Is it wrong that I am excited about tomorrow as I am going to pay Littlewoods off? :j One down and many more to go but every step is a step closer.......right?

Too much chocolate and too much alcohol the night before led me to lounge around on the couch watching carp on the t.v. all day
I now have many, many, many (into infinity) jobs to do before bed. Sometimes I am such a lazy mare!

Hello, hello, hello :wave:

I feel awful today, what I thought was a hangover yesterday has turned into a full blown cold or fluey type thing. My head and eyes ache, I am hot but shivering, my legs feel so heavy, my throats burning, my chest feels like sandpaper when I breathe in and I have a lovely cough to top it all off. Any diagnosis out there?

I am going to take the day off work and keep myself warm and cosy, lots of hot lemon drinks and paracetemol and feel sorry for myself all day.

On the positive side, I paid L/woods their final payment today. I now have ZERO balance :j:T I am chuffed with my little ole self and have spent about an hour this morning adjusting my spreadsheets and fiddling with my own snowbally thing and working out how long it will take to get rid of the next one. (thank heavens for excel, my poor brain is like mush this morning) Hopefully by the end of Feb beginning of March I'll have finished F/mans. If Christmas wasn't in the way it would be sooner. I'm to scared to over pay them incase I don't have enough money for the ludicrous expense that is Christmas

I need to drag myself out and post ebay parcels at some point today. It'll be like an SAS undercover mission to make sure no-one sees me as I am off sick

Can't help thinking as well that as I am not going to work then that's another days diesel saved. Might not need to put any in at all this week if I am very very careful (or have another day off tomorrow)

Yep - that's the lurgey alright. Nothing you can do but rest up, up your liquid intake, and afford yourself an enormous dose of tlc.

While you're out doing SAS rolls across the street, nip into the pharmacist to check if there's anything else s/he would suggest - thus making your trip out illness related and fully acceptable.

Really sensible thinking - though remember that this is your very first MSE Christmas...how exciting is that?!. But to make yourself feel better, why not pop the additional money you would overpay into a pot somewhere in the house - then it's there if you need to dip into over Christmas, but if you don't, then come the first working day of Jan, you'll have a nice little lump sum to bash F/Mans over the head with.
