  • If you've updated the thing properly, I have updated your totals. If your savings are £0 for the month, nothing changes on the spreadsheet...

ETA - Londoner01 - your totals have been updated on the spreadsheet every month, right from the word go. Have you looked on the spreadsheet? The first post hasn't been updated yet, but the spreadsheet has.

Thanks for doing the updates sf. Just checked my update and realised that I updated wrong. Sorry, I am a total numpty! I out my new total in instead of the amount saved! The amount saved was £889 giving me a new total of £2730. Do you want me to redo the update form. Sorry for adding to your workload. I wish I really did have that £4k+ total though!

Wow this year is flying by.. cant believe that this challenge started a whole 7 months ago - it feels like yesterday!

Well another month and so another update!

    Regular Saver 1: £100.00
    Regular Saver 2: £250.00
    Regular Saver 3: £250.00
    Online Saver 1: £518.63

    Total £1118.63

This last couple of months have been a bit of a struggle to be honest - between stress at work, social events/functions, paying for the holiday and having no time to ebay, I aint doing as well as I could!

But August is a shiny new month and I think its about time me and ebay continue our love affair and start making some money again!

Hope everyone else has had good months.. aint had chance to catch up yet, but am about to grab a cuppa and go and have a nosey! x

July update... I managed to save £630 this month which takes me up to £5630 so nearly half way to the 12k. I don't expect to reach that figure by the end of the year but anything is better than nothing!

I've spent a lot of money recently as my sister is having a baby and I really struggle to resist the cute baby clothes :o. Have added my update on the first page :).
    Finally bought a home
    Starting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,984.78/CENTER]
    Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,341.43

Well things are looking up a bit for me. I've been ebaying and will have made about £250 profit from that (including a hefty chunk on a cross trainer). Sold my old Blackberry, forgot that the camera wasn't working so only got about £30 for it but better than nothing. I've also been doing some of the Quidco offers and will have about £80 coming in from that over the next few months - it all adds up. Hopefully this will pay for the rest of the hotels and car hire for my big holiday coming up. So the excess income I have will be spending money and if it's not spent then come the end of OCtober I will move a hefty chunk into the ISA. Sadly I will be declaring £0 until this point!

Better late than never - July was my best month so far, with £1,390 into the pot. That was mostly because I got paid my June work expenses. Enforced saving is the way to go! :rotfl:

£1015 for me for July. Spent a bit of money this month on paint and decorating materials and some diy stuff to start getting our flat sorted ready to sell next year. Trying to resist spending lots of money on some nice new curtains - we have very long and wide windows so it costs a fortune for new ones! Happy saving for August everyone :-)
