Nothing for me for July
Have been spending my excess money on dollars and hotels for a trip to California. I daresay I won't be able to save anything to add to this challenge until November so I won't be hitting my targets - boo!
It'll be June's pay on dollars, July and August's pay on hotels and travel and September's pay as extra spending money in the account in case I need it.
But on the plus side I'm back to ebaying and it really is absolute junk to me but have so far made £92 profit. Switched my current account for £100 and will be selling my cross trainer for at least £100 profit hopefully. And work owes me a little bit of money (possibly cancelled out by an increase in % I'm paying to my pension). So that might cover car hire in CA at least!

Hi all,
Congrats on the July savings
We managed to save £839.00 this month.
Close! I'm reporting £837.83 for this month, still on target
Congratulations on the wedding Justin, and sorry to hear about the looming redundancies. Sounds like it was an eventful month as we got notice on our flat and will need to move by mid-Sept! Looks like we have found a place where rent will be the same / only marginally more, but we will have to share with flatmates this time. Which could be a good change!
I expect there will be a lot of expenses relating to the move, probably buy a few pieces of new furniture etc., and the thing that worries me the most is getting our deposit back.
Thankfully I am visiting my family for most of August which means no food expenses and no £112 travel card! YaySaving £10,000 in 2013: £4491.48/£10,0000 -
Thought i better post an update as i haven't posted for a while. I will regrettably have to leave this challenge as the past few months have taken some unexpected twists and turns. My husband and i have decided to buy our first house :j and so understandably we are ploughing all our money into that for the time being. I know this will be much better for our financial future though, as through renting we have been effectively throwing away £7000 a year for the past four years
So very excited to be investing our money and having a home to call our own. Looking forward to the future and will definitely be back for the save 13k in 2013! Congrats to all who are continuing, you are doing an amazing job! :TMortgage - £105,5000 -

I have the same problem actually, I assumed it was because I had posted them late.Saving £10,000 in 2013: £4491.48/£10,0000 -

If you've updated the thing properly, I have updated your totals. If your savings are £0 for the month, nothing changes on the spreadsheet...
ETA - Londoner01 - your totals have been updated on the spreadsheet every month, right from the word go. Have you looked on the spreadsheet? The first post hasn't been updated yet, but the spreadsheet has.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
