I really can't believe my total, where did it all come from? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I don't expect to have such a great total next month, but heh this is a good start,
Well done to all of you and a great big thank you to Slowlyfading for keeping this thread going.
Good Luck to you all0 -
Thanks for the comments. I've spoken to payroll and, although it will appear on Feb's pay slip, they are processing it as an advance. Hopefully that means I should get it by the end of the week rather than having to wait until the end of Feb.
Unfortunately I'm a contract worker and have to submit my time sheet every month. I did that but the new person forgot to process it because I work in a different office! GRRRRRR
By different office I don't mean different building, I'm round the corner with one set of double doors between us!0 -
Final tally for me is £775.46 for January. A good start but hoping Feb is better!Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

It was payday on friday and I added an extra £681 towards the savings account along with £600 into the wedding fund and £250 into my regular saver! Glad to see everybody doing so well and keep it going!Millionaire in Training

That's very irritating for you. You probably already know and have sorted yourself out but... if it costs you anything e.g. bank charges, late fees etc you should be able to reclaim them from your employer as it is their mistake.0 -

Desperate Housewife, thank you very much for the hint regarding the "sandwich bread" programme, I've tried it twice now and the bread is much nicer, less dense and the crust is much thinner.
no problem, glad you are happy with itserious_saver wrote: »Unfortunately I'm a contract worker and have to submit my time sheet every month. I did that but the new person forgot to process it because I work in a different office! GRRRRRR

I used to be an agency worker and it is very annoying when they dont process your time sheet on time!

As for me, it's not really a saving because I have spent money, but I have used TopCashback for the first time today, which makes me feel smug. It's for books for a project that I believe I started on an impetus to organise my life coming from this thread! Or definitely from the MSE forum anyway. So thank youSaving £10,000 in 2013: £4491.48/£10,0000
