Really great totals coming in!
I've been informed of a £600 bonus from work so that will be a nice addition to February's total (after all the tax!) Also just sold two items on ebay at the prices I want (after a few times relisted!!) so am getting the Ebay bug again!

No 55 - Didnt think I'd had a great january, but my savings have increased by £1250 from the 1st of Jan to today.
I do have a £550 credit card bill to pay in Feb, but I'll remove that from next months total, and it does include £350 for my annual gym membership so hopefully future bills will be a bit lower. I've also been running down cash I received for xmas instead of using the cashpoint so, I think I have a chance of making the £12K, but its not going to be easy!0 -

OMG i didnt realize how addictive this money saving malarky is. Its all i think about and Im definately being alot wiser than I was with money.
Although ive reduced my total to £6k for the year im really hoping to hit alot higher. I changed it to make it more realistic for me as I get de motivated too easily if i set myself up too high. £12k is probably do-able but doesnt allow us much of a life which isnt good as we need a healthy work-play ratio.
Im really happy with my target of £500 last month as we've had alot on including hubbies bday and car tax so not bad going.
Hoping to put away £1k in Feb wohoooooooooooo
Keep going everyone
PS everyone on this thread is making me wana keep saving so much (Im competitive, hehe)Mortgage deposit target April £9000
New mortgage deposit target May £8000 to go0 -
The interest on my current account came in today so I transferred over the massive £2.52 interest I had this month.0
