Received a letter today from Cahoot saying they will give me back ALL my charges ... ALL my interest ... and ALL my court fees :j :j :j
They really played hardball but I stuck to my guns and never waivered (although I thought I may a few times) and finally got my money back.
Total including all charges etc £738.96

Nope :j
Was due to go to court next Tuesday and was dreading it and it had me wondering whether to pull out or not ... but I had all my court pack ready and thought I'd just go for it.
Anyway, nice letter through the door this morning and now no court and fees back.
Banks eh?? You gotta love 'em :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Well done!! I am at the early stages with Cahoot for a similar amount. After the first letter they sent a very snooty email stating how I had signed up for the t's and c's etc... and I was not getting a penny back. That's it now and I am sending the LBA! Yes, they seem to pay hardball. They wanted to charge me nearly £80 for issuing copies of statements - what is that about?!
I'll keep at them - what a cheek!!!0 -
Got my cheque this morning!:T :T
