    i just registered the card and it takes 24 hours to activate

    OK I see. It may not take that long to activate it, depending on how busy their system is. Try switching it off now and again and you may get the SIM update to activate it.

    I think if you call 241 (free, almost certain) you can get the code too, for future reference. ;)

    It cost 35p to receive the code back by text :)

    More info here and in the t&c here it states that, "23. To call or text 241 is free. To receive a text ticket you'll be charged a rate of 35p per text."
