Secondhand stove?

Now it's sold to you surely you can post up the link or a pic of it at least? Nice one!

I would consider that a bargain if in sound condition.
I suspect that after a service and a coat of clearview paint in the colour of your choice, it will come up like new. The "rust" above the door may just be sooty deposits but without a pic it`s hard to assess. At least you will have a good stove so as long as your install is good all should be well. Well done!

I would love to be able to post the pics but I am not keen on my ebay account being on here and I don't know how to take them off ebay and get them on here! I will have to keep my fingers crossed. It does look like the rope round the door fitting has been changed at some point.0

The door and glass seals look virtually new. That could be a spot of rust above the door, but will soon clean up - and you can probably buy touch up paint from Clearview to make it look like new. I reckon you've got a good deal there - nice one!

Ooh how did you find that Greenfires? I think you have posted about briquettes in the past. I have found someone in Liverpool who I think I am going to use for this winter. Hope they are as good as people say. I am very excited about my stove!0

You could just quote the 12 digit item number and people could search ebay for that item and see the listing. Don`t think this will give any of your account detail away but may give your ebay user name away if that is any concern to you.If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0 -

The ebay forum has made me paranoid about this very thing :rotfl: also I have seen over the years people find all sorts of private information out from the most incongruous details, and it's not the people that chat on the forums that worry me but all the other people that are just doing who knows what with the info in the privacy of their homes...0 -
You can of course just search ebay for a clearview stove under the completed listings0

You can change the colour to whatever suits you. See the range of Clearview spray paints.0
