I am trying to reclaim late payment charges from Littlewoods.

The first time i asked them to respond to my letter within 14 days....had no reply so i then used the template letter from MSE stating that if they do not repay my charges it will be taken to court.

I have still had no reply...what do i do?

I sent the same 2 letters to Studio at exactly the same time and i have had a positive response from them stating reimbursment of charges.

Any response would be better than none, atleast i would know where i stood, right??

Feel free to leave your comments, any help would be much appreciated. :o
    Thanks

i am too trying to claim late payment charges from littlewood, but unfortunately i have put it with a claims company. i have also started to claim ppi because eveerytime i used to phone they would go on about insurance and i used to say yes to try and get my order through. i never met any requiements as i didnt work etc so i would not have got any benefit.

i can only say try it yourself do not go through a claim company. i have been told they are part of ge money and very difficult to get anything out of.

i presume you have your statements if so list out on a spreadsheet your charges and dates then add up the charges. if you have not ask for the subject access data in otherwords your statements to be sent to you. this costs 10 pounds if they do not comply within 40 days they are breaking the data protection act. i am sure you will find info on this on the site.

this site has helped me fight back against this overcharging. i hope i am of some help

They tried "do you want insurance?" with me, i said no, and the old lady on the other end of the line nearly threw a fit shouting "WHY NOT??!!!" I never understood why the attitude, they must be on commission wages.
    Owed out = lots.

Why not simply say that you would rather go bankrupt that pay for overpriced and unnecessary insurance ;)

    Help!!!

Have held accounts with Choice / abound / studio cards.
All accounts are now clear and inactive.
Would it be possible to reclaim charges from these companies as it was more than six years ago?
Would they still hold my account information (all those charges they must have applied!!!)
I do not have any account numbers or statements {thrown out when balance cleared)

    Many Thanks :rotfl:

If it is more than 6 years since the account is closed then you are unlikely to be able to claim the charges back.
