Hi Everyone,
I hope that all your claims are going well. I don't suppose anyone knows where i would send the first letter requesting statements from 'Choices' catolgue. Sorry to be a pain, i'm sure i could find the address but thought that the info could be more accurrate on here.
Also one last question, sorrywhat exacly can we claim for with them?
Thanks and Take Care0 -
Yes you need to send a cheque for £10 for your SAR request, this is the maximum companies can charge under Data Protection Act.
You can claim back late payment charges only.
As regards addresses, if you don't have a statement to find the address, Google the company thats all I would do and I don't have the time to do this for every company0 -
Aww thanks Edinburgh Lass, just one last question, can we claim for a Paid referall charge on are bank accounts, i'm sure it's another word for Bank charge. I was a bit worried when i saw it on my statement as it is an unauthorised overdraft bank charge but they've put it in another way....

Hi everyone! :rotfl:
I'm new to the forum and have a question I hope I can get help with.
I was a customer with JD Williams, until I defaulted with my payments as I became unemployed. They passed me over to 'Reliable Collections' who I have been paying consistently. I forgot my January payment and have just received a letter instructing me that they are adding a charge of £12 to my statement as they havent received my payment. I only pay £20 a month anyway!
Could I call them and ask for the payment to be removed or would I have to send off a letter asking for charges to be paid back to me (I do have a few charges over the past couple of yrs).
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanx

Hi there,
Just been reading through how people are getting on with claims and I am in the process of claiming from banks but thought I'd go ahead with catalogues too. (I was very foolish when I turned 18  )
My accounts are all settled now but I have sent letters off the the following requesting my statements/list of charges:
-Littlewoods
-Freemans
-Grattan
Just waiting for replies from each of them now - has anyone had any luck with the above? :rolleyes:0 -
Im hoping if some of the others who posted on this thread can give an update ?
Im doing my letter today to studio, who i estimate have charged me somewhere in the region of £200 in fees, as they seem to lamp a £20 charge on everything.
My balance is zero
Has anyone else had a succesful claim with studio ?*Spendi*
