Enjoy Dara tonight guys, lovely treat! So kind of Dara to time his show so it fell on NIM's birthday too!
It's my SIL's 30th today and she's gutted that she can't drown her sorrows with booze due to being pregnant, she's still feeling queasy too so she's not even able to replace gin with cake!My brother sent me the 12 week scan yesterday and it's amazing, really good profile of the baby's face.:happyhear Things are looking good so I hope they can relax a little now and look forward to the due date!

Grace is a VERY sicky baby, she has a lot of relux issues and oral aversion probably from having the feeding tube so long and when she was past term. She's also particular, she will only eat off one teat, despite it being too small for her now, and we had to widen the hole with a corkscrew. The wet vac is very well used in our house despite having a wooden floor - she's good at getting the sofa and rug. I didn't expect to have hands like a washer woman when I had her, but right now we have
Definitely there on the pooing thing, she's been trying to devour her hand for the last fortnight but I took this as a sign she wanted solids. Right now she's chewing the cable of her oxygen monitor. She's not hugely drooly though. She's actually in a better mood with herself today which is nice.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Grrrr wrote a post and lost it. Really pleased for your SIL birdie, this was when it all went wrong last time isn't it? My quesyness vanished over about 5 days at 14 weeks so hopefully she won't have too long left.
Don't fret on the poo Birdie, you have it all to come xDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

She lost it at 15 weeks last time but looking back I think they c0cked up and missed the early signs since when she went for the 12 week scan they said she must only be 10 weeks as the baby was too small even though SIL *knew* how far along she was! It was only on her 3rd scan at ~14 weeks (after saying that they couldn't get a clear enough picture on the 2nd scan) that they realised that it had gone wrong. They've clearly got a guilty conscience IMO as she's had a 9 week scan, 12 week and going back in 2 weeks for another one! No reason to think that anything bad will happen this time but she's not letting herself get too excited. I just wish she was a little further along so we'd know whether to buy either Mickey or Minnie stuff at Disney!
Oh and I'm of the belief that I will have babies that neither poo or puke, I don't want anyone to tell me otherwise!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
They must have had an inkling maybe, to be giving her so many scans? Are they planning to find out the gender?
Okay love, I won't contradict you, your baby will just keep everything inside until at three months it's the size of a weather balloon.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yeah they're wanting to know the sex, my Mum can't wait to start buying pink or blue things and I wouldn't be surprised if she's already picked out a pram and cot for keeping at her house!
All the scans stuff was just weird, it was a case of 'Come back because we think you're here too soon' then 'Everything looks OK but come back next week when the baby's in a different postition so we can get all the measurements we need' then it was a bit of an 'Oh !!!!!!' moment... Nice that she's getting so many scans to keep her reassured now though!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. My friend had 9 week scans at both of her subsequent pregnancies following a miscarriage - I think it's precaution rather than a 'guilty conscience' - aww, Aunty Birdie think of all the things you can make for it!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Happy belated birthday NIM! Did you enjoy Dara? What did Grace get you?
Aw how exciting for your family Birdie, hope the next three weeks sail by so they can relax a bit. You'll just have to do double the shopping at Disney
Hows Grace today Dinah? Is she started on solids yet? Can't believe she's 6 months, that has gone so fast! Do preemies have to wait longer to wean etc as they wouldn't be as developed as a full term 6 month old?
I'm sat waiting for another doctors appointment as I've finished my antibiotics and the tonsils are still agonising. I'm meant to be heading home tonight as OH has got a rare weekend off so we can see our families but my dad told me not to come if I'm still ill! Charming. To be fair my mum picks stuff up super easily and they have an amazing silver anniversary holiday booked in a couple of weeks so I do understand but I don't want to stay here alone!

Aww Archers, that's a bit mean of your Dad but it did make me giggle! Hope they can do something for you at the docs
How was Dara last night?
Augh, can't believe how dark it was this morning when my alarm went off, and how early it gets dark on an evening - I want to be in bed by 7.30 every night at the mo, I don't seem to get anything doneWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
