Can someone tell me how to feel please?

We crossed posts. Wow Dinah, I don't think anyone would know how to feel. I guess you should focus on the present right now, though there is still too much for one woman - especially a new mum - to deal with.

But it's definitely good news that the CT scan didn't show anything. It means you can focus on Grace right now when she needs you. Sorry to hear that she needs more tests and that your grandad is back in hospital.

Glad to hear you look skinny in your CT though! :D

Whoah that's a lot going on Dinah!

Firstly, I hope that Gracie's OK and it's just a case of her still healing. Newcastle is clearly the best place for her to be so it's good that she's going to be where the experts are able to look after her.

Secondly, great news that they can't find a tumor and the urine tests show no problems. Bit weird that whatever it was they thought they'd found has disappeared though?! They'll be keeping an eye on you I'm sure so fingers crossed that they'll be able to put your mind at ease about it soon. Try not to worry about having more babies right now, focus on the lovely little lady you have! I'd be tempted to do some research into surrogacy for future babies to know that you've got a plan B though :)

Thirdly, sorry to hear about your Grandad's fall. It would be nice if he could meet Grace, I know you say it might not mean anything to him now, but you never know, it could. And it'll give you all a lovely memory of Gracie meeting her great-grandad! :)

Glad you look thin in your CT scan! :) Reminds me of the Friends episode where Rachel has an x-ray and Ross has to assure her that it didn't make her look fat! ;)

Like Poddle says, focus on the present and the good stuff for now. :)

Just got the call - we're Newcastle bound now. So I'm going to pick up NIM and go from there.

Skinny is a bit of a push, but I didn't have any big thick wads of fat anywhere, it was all just an even layer all the way around just with a puffed out bum. Although a fat CT would have been some good motivation right now. I'm never going to get to start my 30DS.

Dinah - I hope everything goes well for Grace at Newcastle, its obviously the best place for her at the minute.
As Birdie says, try not to worry about future children at the minute, just you concentrate on that gorgeous little girl for now. I am sure there must be some other options for the future that can be discussed once you have Grace safely home.

So glad to hear that nothing showed up on your scan.

I hope your grandad recovers from his fall quickly. I am guessing he wont get to meet Grace now that she has gone to Newcastle, I am sure he would of loved to.

Hope everything goes ok in Newcastle Dinah, it is the best place for Grace as the others have said. Is best they find out what is wrong so they can sort it out.

Good news about the tumour but must be very difficult not having any real answers. As you said you didn't have any symptoms so hopefully it is just a case of them being wrong.

Don't worry about other babies, you have Grace and there are other ways and means as Birdie mentioned.

Sorry to hear about your Grandad too. The last time i saw my Grandma i took Poppy to see her, she was very confused at this time but apprently when someone went to see her the next day they asked if she had seen her family and she said no but then started talking about Poppy so obviously did remember seeing her. Made me happy that she had got to see her.

Glad they didn't find a tumour dinah (and that you don't have a fat ct picture ;) )

I'm also glad that you didn't have to wait around for a bed for Grace. Hope it all goes well.

I would just like to echo the others about future children. Right now you need to concentrate on yourself and Grace (and NIM of course ) once everything has settled then you can start looking into the possibility.

Hope everything goes ok with Grace today Dinah and NIM, am thinking of your family as always x

Brilliant news about your Dad as well Tete, must be a massive relief for you both.

Sorry to hear about your OH Cinny, keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that he gets this other job. From your description it sounds very similar to OH's last job, 50 hour week contracted but forced to work overtime on top with no extra pay, a 60-70 hour week was quite normal for him. He has since found a new job and is a different person, I'm sure you will be saying the same about your OH in no time.

Starting weight for the challenge is 126lbs for me please (I'm only a titch heightwise) hoping to lose about half a stone but I have a tin of jubilee shortbread at home to polish off first :o

Congratulations on your official engagement Shrimpy! :j Have you got any ideas for when the wedding will be?

Hope it's all OK up in Newcastle Dinah. :)

My Mum and Dad are back from their holiday so I'm off to see them tonight for tea and pressies, yay! They were buying my birthday present over there so excited to find out what I've got! :) They've also bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet thingy and expect me to set it up and teach them how to use it which will be hideously frustrating.

I've given in and decided to get a Kindle Touch. :o OH gets really annoyed when I read in bed because I make such a meal out of turning the pages loudly (?!) and I have a habit of kind of rubbing the book so it sqeaks and drives him to distraction so I'll be much quieter with the Kindle. :p Managed to save a whole £4 by ordering an Argos giftcard through work though so that's good too. Just hope it arrives soon so I can go and buy it! :)

Thanks Birdie! We're thinking probably September 2013, OH wanted to wait until 2014 but I told him I'd waited long enough! :D Think he was worried about finances more than anything but I think I'd only spend more if I had longer to plan so have talked him round.

Exciting about your birthday present, and seriously loving your Kindle buying justification!
