Morning! Thinking of you getting your results today Dinah, at least you don't have to wait long!
Are people really depressed about the football? I thought a draw was OK, are you sure you're not seeing things through a green mist NIM?Or maybe I've been a Boro fan too long and celebrate a draw
And have I missed something about football and peace?!
I know Birdie it's terrible, I need someone to get me an assistant. Can't believe there were days in the past I'd come to work, chat on here, find recipes online, write a Dooyoo review or three and maybe send a few work emails. Sigh.
How come OH's so stressed at work Cinny? Sorry if I've missed it, does he have a horrible boss?
Day 2 of the Shred today and I could barely steer my car to workPilates at lunch time if I can hobble over to the gym. She's trying to break me but I won't have it!! Was 7 cals under my goal yesterday but was hungry all evening, had to go to bed early to stop myself raiding the custard creams. Hate dieting.
EDIT - we started yesterday Starnac!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Ireland were kept out of the world cup cause the french decided to play gaelic football instead. So seeing them thrashed would make a lot of irish people VERY happy indeed. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Tete, if you're still hungry you need to feed yourself. Starving only gives results for so long, then you cave and binge and give up! (well, I did!) And custard creams are beautiful.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »How come OH's so stressed at work Cinny? Sorry if I've missed it, does he have a horrible boss?
It's just a horrible place to work. He's constantly threatened into working overtime with a disciplinary, which they already seem to hand out like hot cakes out for the weirdest reasons, so he's always worried he's going to just lose his job one day. Without all this, the way the company runs makes him uncomfortable. They've actually been on Watchdog for their 'unique' ways!
Hoping the results are good for Dinah too. I'd just be a wreck.0 -

How can they threaten people into working more than their contracted hours?! That's madness, your poor OH Cinny.
Thinking of you too Dinah, hope it's good news
Nana-in-law's funeral is on Thursday and I'm really struggling to find a black/grey/navy dress in the shops. Going to have to nip through to another town after work, which will be a nightmare as it's always stupidly busy around rush-hour. It's at times like this when I regret having such a colourful wardrobe!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I don't even own sedate jackets
My current coat is bright pink! Come to think of it, I don't even have black shoes. Seriously, who doesn't have the black staples?! Me, obviously.
Since it's not my side of the family I'm not too sure about turning up in bright stuff, will just have to cross my fingers that I can find something tonight.

I thought a draw was pretty good. I must admit i get quite into watching the england matches although OH was getting annoyed at me asking who the players were, i only know some of them.
I wore a flowery skirt to my Grandma's funeral as my Mum told me not to wear all black. Starnacs idea sounds a good one.
Cinny - your OH's work sounds awful, really hope he finds something soon.0 -
Can someone tell me how to feel please?
Events of today:
1. Grace needs to go back to Newcastle for further investigations to see if she either has some nerve damage (hopefully temporary) from the surgery, or if she has a blood clot on the part of lung that is still there which needs removing. So we're back up there for a few days possibly today, possibly tomorrow, just as soon as they can get a bed for her.
2. My CT scan shows no tumour, and my repeat 24 hour urine collection was 1.9 (normal range is 0-3) so that doesn't indicate tumour either... so now they don't think I have it. Going to retest in 4 weeks. On the one hand a huge relief that I don't have the possibility of having an aggressive malignant tumour, on the other this does mean probably not wise to have any more children as I'd have the same issues during pregnancy. Plus there is still a 10% chance its somewhere else in my body, but the doc doesn't want to play hunt the tumour when the urine tests do not clearly indicate I even have one. So no certainty either way.
3. My grandad took a fall this afternoon so is now on his way to hospital as he is complaining of pain in his hip. Hopefully he's okay, but maybe they'll keep him overnight and mum and dad will have one evening of respite? If Grace doesn't go to Newcaslte until tomorrow there is even a slim chance she could be taken down to meet him as they said a few weeks ago they could do this if he was in the same hospital, although I don't think it would mean anything to him anymore
It's a real shame stress doesn't cause weight loss or I would be rocking this challenge. I was very pleased to see I didn't look fat in my CT scan photo thoughDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thinking of you here too, Dinah. A small blessing I think that you don't have to wait for long.
Hey Tete! Welcome back, such positive news about your dadyou should definitely find time to focus on yourself (and some online gossiping too!) how's your blog renovating going?!
* I'd like to start the challenge at 140.2lbs (as of yesterday morning) I want to kick ten stone's butt this week, but can't stop eating like a piglet. It's the weather!
Hope you find something to wear for the funeral, Birdie. I'm the same - every so often I think I should get some staple black trousers/dress, smart jacket, but there are always other, more exciting, things to buy!
Cinny, your OH's work sounds vile. Hope he's making the most of time at home with Ryder! Are you a bit jealous?
Glad all is good with you CMD, it's the right kind of busy!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
