That's one thing I don't get about Doctors. If someone goes in genuinely worried about something, why don't they just run the tests?! I know they have all their degrees and whatnot but you're going to know your body better than a book. But have you thought of doing some kind of pregnancy yoga? Would calm you a little and help keep you in shape with the extra baby bundle!

Shrimpy - I think I just tend to like companies others can't get on with! Like Santander, I think they're the best but not many people seem to agree :o

Cinny, I'm an HD snob too :o We don't have Sky (may be getting it this year though as OH is gutted that F1 is moving to Sky from the BBC and we may actually find that the whole package is cheaper/not much more expensive than what we're paying for BT broadband anyway) but if we watch stuff on the BBC we'll always flick it onto HD where available (we actually watch very little 'real' TV though), we download HDTV and Bluray rips to watch rather than standard definition and only watch Blurays now, we got rid of all of our DVDs. We were too excited when we found out that we can download 3D movies and play them on the TV via the laptop, it's like magic! I may have watched Tangled in 3D a couple of times already... love it so much! Hope our first baby is a girl so she can have a Tangled themed bedroom, got it all planned out in my head already... maybe if we have a boy it can be a Flynn Rider room instead :D

Sorry you seem to be spending too much time in hospital Dinah, sounds crummy! And it's rubbish when you get an unsympathetic doctor, you must feel like slapping him with a wet fish and explaining that you know your body better then he does considering you live with it every day! Do you have a blood pressure monitor to keep track of it at home so you can go back with your own profile and say, 'Here's what it was like when I was at home... now what are you going to do about it?!' :p

Cinny, I think I'm just unlucky! My internet banking details for Santander wouldn't work properly and they had to send them out 3 times! They were pretty helpful though so they aren't on my 'list'. They wrote to me to say I wasn't eligible for the £100 switching bonus but then paid it to me anyway so that put them in my good books!

I can't get used to HD, the first time I watched Corrie in it I could see inside Peter Barlow's pores! Put me off a bit!
    Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44
    Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid

I have a class starting tonight :D Bit of an indulgence at £45 for 3 1 3/4 hour classes, however it's yoga and relaxation and birthing techniques, and is the only one I could find in the area. She usually does it over 6 weeks, but she's having her baby soon so she's condensed it somewhat and made each session longer. When this finishes it should be about time for the pilates class to start somewhere in March, so that's all good too.

I do have a home monitor, he thinks I'm scaring myself and making my bp go higher by using it. I've tried showing him the results several times, and pointed out I've used it for 10 years without scaring myself into a breakdown, but he is adamant.

:rotfl: OH made me watch Star Wars 3 with him and all I could see was the bad make-up covering Hayden Christensen's acne and the wrinkles in Natalie Portman's dresses!

Sadly he's the head of the department, it makes it a bit hard to go to someone else as it all gets run through him anyway.

Sounds like a plan. Although I am considering scaring the crap out of him by just going in there and fainting or something!

I spoke too soon - my yoga/birthing course has just been cancelled as the lady is suffering with SPD and is going to the hospital tomorrow to see about being induced next week - so wouldn't be able to teach most of the classes. Oh well, back to square one.
