I got paid yesterday and it was very welcome!
I got £265 more than last month too so I was :j
It is the pancake race today and I'm a bit nervous about running down the street with loads of people watching me  Just to make me feel better my knee is all strapped up (I'm lucky that OH has a stash of knee related paraphernalia to borrow) as it is really sore but don't really know what's wrong, it's just feeling Not Nice
On the plus side, it's an hour or so out of the office and they're giving away free pancakes!

im a numbers geek!! but i dont understand what you want to know! All I know is that OH's 1.7 diesel was about 10.7p/mile which i think is about 55mpg and my 1.6 petrol was never less than 15p/mile, about 40mpg no matter how hard I tried! (this is up to date till september, haven't bought fuel since then and dont know how the prices have changed)
Basically that, cost per mile to run each car given I saw diesel at Tesco today at £1.40.9, not sure diesel is cheaper to run than petrol anymore.I'm always waiting for payday :rotfl:
I'm nervously counting down the weeks until my SMP finishes
Dinah, Wendz and CMD - not sure if you have seen but Boots have 3 for 2 on alot of the baby stuff.
Can't be fun Flower.
Went to the Mothercare baby event last night and won a pack of sleep suits. Got a lot of good advice too so I'm a happy camper today. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

How could I forget it was pancake day! I know what OH will be doing tonight now
I hope you have fun in the race, and make sure you eat your whole body weight in pancakes :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Aye the babycare event was good, if anyone else has one in the area and is a pregnant lurker, get yourself down to the local one. I read a lot of baby books, go on various forums, but it was fab having lots of people in one place to answer our questions. And I do love a good freebie which we got in the form of 2 mothercare hats, a load of Avent creams and lotions, and then won 3 sleepsuits in the free raffle. I really wish there was an online discount code though, I have a full basket on their website but I refuse to order until I get a discount!
How long left on SMP Flower? Are you going back then or taking the full year?

Dinah - I wish I had known you were looking for a voucher! I had a couple of online codes but they ran out last week, I got Noahs highchair with one of them.
Taking the full year off work, although to be honest dont even want to go back after that. It will be a struggle not getting SMP (it finishes end of April) but I know I am just not ready to leave him yet!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I don't think I'd go back if we could afford it, but my salary is the one we rely on unfortunately. If NIM could only get a job interview where he wasn't always second to someone they already thought they were going to hire, or with a company where actually trying to discuss the salary offer gets you the cold shoulder it would be great.
I woke up this morning feeling better than I have for a long time. I can only attribute it to taking the blood pressure tablet at 6am, so when I woke up it was much lower than normal. I feel clear headed and healthy for once.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

<comes out of lurkdom>
With regards to the petrol and deisel thing it is now said that due to the price difference and you have an economical petrol car that you would be better using petrol, you have to do an awful lot of miles to make it worth it to change to diesel.
If you google mileage calculators then a few good sites come up.
Hope that helps and a woohoo for the dbing and baby news

*Waves at friendly lurker*
Does anyone else's brain automatiacally go 'ARGH!!! LURKER!!!' when an MSE email pops up saying there is a new post by someone with an unfamiliar name?! Just me then? I'll get my coat. Oh wait, no I won't, it's my blinking thread
(starting to worry it wasn't a blood pressure tablet I took in dark during the night but some kind of happy pill, I am very oddly giddy today)Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
