Have a fantastic time Archers, take us lots of photos! When are you back? Hoping to keep the baby in another 18 weeks yet!

Money situation a little less dicey. Mum called up and said she'd give me the £60 tomorrow without me even asking, so that was good, and there was still £50 in the petrol account (had done the spending on the joint account as it came to more than was available in that one) so moved that over, and the £42 which was in the food account - which shouldn't be there as again this came out the joint account.

Received a letter from Barclaycard the other day, offering a 0% balance transfer. We were considering it as a way to clear the overdraft which isn't 0%, but when I logged on it said I had £1339 of space on the card, but only £339 available to use for balance transfers. Which isn't really worth it.

Did receive £35 and £38 from Amazon and ebay sales into the bank this morning, but I haven't paid it off the debt as I don't like being so close to overdraft limits. Anything still there on the 25th will of course go off the balance. Also got a £4.60 cheque off Music Magpie in the post yesterday, will take it to York with me, if I see a bank I'll pay it in but it's not worth going into town especially for.

Might go and do our payday budget to cheer myself up seeing how much we'll be clearing off the debt in a few days time.

Wowee, have a BRILLIANT time Archers, can't wait to hear about it!

Dinah, it sounds like you're back in control over your finances - even if it has been an expensive week. If I've learnt anything from this thread, it's that there are always, always unexpected costs!

Aw Birdie, your OH is being really sweet - and obedient :) So nice of him to treat you to Edinburgh too!

How exciting about the wedding venue Wendz - is it the one you posted a link to? That's lovely of your parents to help out too.

To the pinterest users - do I need to get a current user to invite me or is the 'waiting list' just something for a few days until they okay the email addy or something?

    Have an amazing time Archers!

Dinah - glad the money situation is looking a bit better . Sounds like might be best not to take the holiday ms if it doesn't look great. Hopefullyif NIM flags up you are interested in the future, something else might come up. That is really sweet you are looking forward to your first family holiday. I can't wait to go away but think it might be not till our honeymoon now.

Poddle - yes its the one i posted link too. Apparently my uncle is excited as he can play a round of golf as its a golf club lol.

I have sorted out Poppys settling in sessions for nursery this morning. All seeming real this going back to work business now especially as i am in for a day on thurs and then mon although OH will be looking after her then.

Have a great time Archers, I'm sure you will! Its sounds amazing!

Dinah, I know how you feel about the accounts being empty, our shopping account is no way going to see the month out and I don't even know why really. If anything our food bills have come down. Think we will have to put a bit more in each month but feel like that is admitting defeat! Will have to make more of an effort to go OS I guess. No idea about pinterest though, sorry.

How are you feeling about going back to work Wendz?

We aren't doing great moneywise either although our income has dropped down a lot so guess we have to get used to it.

Bit nervous about going back to work but other people who have done it have said it isn't as bad as you think. Haven't left Poppy for more than about 3 or 4 hours so will be strange.

I suppose it's a good thing that you're going back for a couple of days just to get used to the idea, I'm sure it'll feel like you've never been away after a couple of weeks!

Dinah, the waiting list for Pinterest is just a couple of days, I got my invite last night :) It's a brilliant way of wasting even more time online! OH was wondering how I spend so long doing nothing online the other day so clicked on the history tab and was amazed at all the blogs I read! :o What can I say, I'm nosey! ;)

Ooooh my shares are looking nice and high, if they stay as they are then we'll be looking at about £16500 between us when we can get our hands on them! :j

Ooh that's a tidy sum! When do they mature - or whatever it is that shares do?! Next year?

I don't have the discipline to blog, but I love reading other people's and Pinterest. Again, I don't have many pins, but like looking at stuff other people have found :) Can I follow you?

I've just been having a little blub reading a blog called Poppies and Epiphanies about the girl in this wedding blog - beautiful but heartbreaking.

I imagine it will take time to get used to leaving Poppy, Wendz, but at least you enjoy your job, so hopefully won't be too hard.

I want to say June... but I'm not 100% sure! :o

I don't really have a lot of Pins either, so far I've just repinned a few bits I liked so I could look at them again when I get more time (and I was just figuring it all out last night!) but I'm not really sure about the whole point of sharing my pinboard thingy with people because why would they want to look at the daft things I want to look at?- but then I think I must be missing the whole ethos of the site?!

My work is so mean and blocks all blogs so I'll have a read of that link tonight :)
