Ooh Birdie that's a nice pic, I hope you show us the finished article! Reminds me of this which I've been meaning to have a go at myself (here's the Pinterest link as I know you can't see blogs, what a thoughtful girl I am.)
Augh can't believe I missed the new series of BFGW! I was blubbing away at the Biggest Loser on the other side, they all looked so lovely after their makeoversWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well!
Wendz - going back to work is hard but you soon get used to it. It is difficult if the baby is upset but you soon fall into your own routine. Having said that, I only went back part-time, but as far as I can remember you are getting a day off with Poppy during the week?
The others are right about wedding dresses. Try every style. Funnily enough, the meringues suited me and I loved them (didn't want to) but I went with a lace one in the end. A friend of mine picked it out and got me to try it on and I fell in love with it there and then. If you don't want to take the dress off, that is a good indication that it is the one for you!
Poddle - when are you getting married? Sorry only have time to read this thread quickly these days so miss out on some stuff? How are all the plans going?
Dinah - did you get your buggy okay in the end? Are you pleased with it? What colour is it?
Birdie - yes please to the shares! I think OH has some but they are defo not worth anything like that!
Hi to everyone else!
OH got Max to give me a bottle of champagne yesterday. Yum yum love it! And last week I got the most beautiful flowers delivered to say congrats on the job. I am not overly fond of Valentines (didn't get OH anything) but I was secretly very chuffed with the champers. What girl would say no!!!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

LOL at your OH Shrimpy! Flowers are stupidly overpriced at this time of year though, went into town yesterday and one of the florists was selling off bouquets for half price, but they were still £22.50! I refuse to pay more than £7 for flowers
NIM, there really is no point in my sharing my dodgy 'art' as a) it looks like a child painted it and b) I don't want to offend our resident artist!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Difference being I'm one of those who backs it up, lots of those types don't. Why spend £20 quid on posh chocs for one day when I know a £1 bag of mini eggs with bring at least as much glee into my girls life?
Lets see then
If I'd seen them Birdie I might have grabbed one for another time. I just don't agree with commercialising romance.
I am not a fan of St Valentines but I think they commercialise every occasion these days. Can't see you not getting D a Mothers Day card next year!!! Lol - we all fall into the commercialisation trap one way or the other.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Those paintings looks fab, I did have some of those round sponge brush things a while back, they came in a kids art set which was about £1! Not sure I still have them though.
Where does everyone seem to find those amazing vintagey frames you see in blogs from though? I looked for one for ages for a print I had and found nothing remotely similar!
I looked on pinterest out of curiosity and consequently have spent over an hour today looking at pretty cakes - ooops.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
