LOL, no! It'd be awesome if it was! No, my hat is just red fleece with our company logo on, not very exciting at all! Oh I've also found out that whilst we're at the Cathedral waiting to race we can eat as many free pancakes as we like- hooray!

That nursery is so sweet Dinah! I have a feeling that when we have a little'un we're more likely to have a 2nd-hand cot in the corner of the spare room but I'd love to have a gorgeous matching nursery, can't believe how expensive it all is though!

That venue looks nice from the one little pic Wendz, I love rooms like that, all rustic and warm looking.

Wendz the venue looks gorgeous, I really love the beams! And nice outside space too for photos. And if we really must look at pictures of dresses, I guess that would be ok

LOL! I'd love to be a decent builder/decorator, my fave blog young house love makes furniture building and painting look so easy, if I tried any of their projects I'd just be left with a lot of firewood and crushed dreams! I wonder if there are any courses for learning such skills?!

Lol Birdie, I'm sure thats not true, you're very creative! I got halfway through recovering a chair last year but my sewing machine broke so I gave up I can't get the link to work but it might be blocked...

Its my Dad's birthday on the 13th, he has asked for some golf lessons which I really must book for him!

My creativity stops at cards I'm afraid! I tried updating a chest of drawers when we first moved into the flat and it looks terrible! I keep thinking that maybe I should strip it all down and try again since it can't exactly look any worse! When the weather is nicer (so we can paint outside) my Mum and I are going to gussy up an old Lloyd Loom blanket box that was salvaged from my Nana's when she died (a good 12 years ago!) and it's been sitting in the garage ever since so I have claimed it, well, if it works out well I'll claim it, if not it can carry on sitting in the garage!

What do you have on your pancakes?!

OH and I painted a chest of drawers when we moved too, except he refused to do any sanding or to paint the actual drawers, only the main bulk of them which is clearly the easy bit. He put way too much paint on and now they look like they've been dipped in porridge. He has even less of the DIY gene than me!

I'm a total traditionalist with pancakes, sugar and lemon all the way! Might try some savoury ones this year, then I can have them for lunch, tea and pudding
