I'm so, so sorry to hear about your dad Tete. It must be really hard for you seeing him struggling and changing. I hope the consultant and the chemo have extremely positive results.

The massages will be very welcome stress relief for you.

Heard back on granddad. He has a 3cm x 2cm brain tumour, they do not know at this point if it's malignant or benign, they're going to do a bone scan and lung scan in the next few weeks to see if there are tumours anywhere else as if it's malignant it's likely to be a secondary tumour to cancer elsewhere and these are the most likely places. So we just have to keep calm and wait for his referal to come through.

I just spent £362 on ebay without even really thinking about it. And what I bought is in Liverpool and needs picking up. I think I need to go get some smelling salts, I'm coming over all faint.

Really hope the tumour is benign Dinah, you are right best thing to do is stay calm.

What did you buy that cost £362? I'm intrigued hehe.

Buggy (icandy peach). It's less than half the price of buying a new one and for whatever reason seemed to be selling a lot less than they usually go for on ebay.

I know, been looking at them for about 6 weeks and keep trying others out to see if anything feels as nice to me but is a bit less budget busting, but didn't find one, so assuming this one is okay that's a real weight off my mind. It should still have some value when we don't need it any more in a few years time hopefully as well.

Sorry to hear about your Dad and Aunt Tete, I'm sure the massages will help you de-stress.

And Dinah, well done on the buggy, my friend had that one and it is pretty cool. Sorry to hear about your grandad though, hopefully it's benign and at least you know what's going on now. Actually thinking about it, the symptoms you described earlier were exactly what my grandad had with his brain tumour. It was near his ear so it was affecting his balance all the time.

So sorry to hear about your Pa and Aunt, Tete :( Hope everything is okay for them both, how're you feeling? I'm sure the massages will work wonders! Was wondering where you'd been, I feel all a loss from you without Twitter!

And keeping everything crossed your Grandad, Dinah. Such horrible news for everyone recently :(

That's good going on the buggy though! I feel kind of sad that I instantly know what baby things look like/how good they are. How do I know these things!! :o

I don't know if anyones seen, and I thought it would be good for you Dinah, but Quidco are doing an offer for a months free trail of Netflix with £15 cashback. You need to watch 5 hours of tv/movies for it to be valid, but that's easily done! Theres also a 30 day trial of Lovefilm + £18 cashback for anyone who hasn't had an account with them before.
  • Oh Dinah so sorry to hear that, it's how it started with my aunty too, over Christmas she was unsteady on her feet but we all assumed it would be some sort of ear infection or labyrinthitis or somthing. Fingers crossed that tests come back clear, so much bad news around since the start of this year for so many people I know :(

Thanks all for your support, feeling better now I've told a few people what's going on, had been keeping it quiet til we knew a bit more and it was tough. Friends are all ace and checking up on me all the time which is lovely.

Cinny have you had your massive tat yet?! Have a lovely weekend everyone x
