Aww I'm sorry about your Nanny CMD :( There seems to be a lot of sadness on all the threads I've been reading recently :( Glad she got a good send off :)

Thanks Birdie. She got a great send off and I heard so many funny stories about her yesterday. She was loved by so many people.

So sorry to hear about your Nan, CMD. Sounds like she had a lovely send off though :) Hope you're okay x

Decided to start an online change pot today. Thinking is I can add to that during the month, then at the end decide how to split it for savings/treats. Finally back on top of our moneyness!

Sorry about your Nan CMD, I'm glad the send off was a comfort though. I felt NIMs granny's send off was lovely, so fitting for the lady and such an outpouring of love from her family, personally it made me feel like she could rest a lot more peacefully than my gran's send off which seemed quite impersonal, so it's really nice that you feel she had a good one.

Nervous today, health in our family continuing to be an issue. Granddad took a tumble in November, said his feet were going faster than he wanted them to and ended up hitting his head and badly cutting open his knee falling into the front wall of his house. Apparently he was laid on his drive for half an hour before one of his neighbours saw him. Since then he's seemed quite confused and generally just not himself, and he's had a few more episodes since. On my birthday his entire body just sort of went limp crossing a road in a car park and he fell forward into a car, if NIM hadn't been behind us and see what was happening I'd never have been able to hold him. He had an CT scan 3 days ago, and was due to get the results next week, however his doctor has called asking mum to come in with him today, so we're nervous about what the scan has shown up. He really freaked me out the other day, best I can describe it is it was sort of like he had a seizure but without the shaking - he was just in NIMs arms like a rag doll, and really disorientated afterwards and then being sick.

Bloody hell, Dinah! That would have terrified me. Hopefully it isn't anything majorly serious and fixable, maybe your Mum just needs to go so he's not on his own considering how they just randomly come on? Or they want to discuss part time care? Fingers crossed though, must be so scary for him.

    Today.

    1. Wrap all parcels for NIM to send tomorrow.
    2. Sort out shoes to take to Billy, also put cleaners slip out to take too
    3. Make baby buys spreadsheet after friend scared me at how unprepared I am!
    4. Try on all bras and parcel for return all ones not keeping so NIM can post tomorrow
    5. Call optician

    What did she do?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

She was asking if I had a list of everything I still needed, and going through the mothercare catalogue pointing out loads of things asking if I'd got that or needed that or which one of these I preferred.... I'm feeling the urge to panic buy flooring so we can get the room decorated and start filling it with potions, lotions and tiny pieces of fabric for various uses.

So sorry to hear about your Nanny CMD. Glad she got the send off she deserved.

I agree with there being more clothes for girls,my friends with boys are always moaning. Ihave been meaning to ask you CMD where you get the gorgeous headbands for Evies hair, she looks so cute in them and have been looking for Poppy but can't find them anywhere.

Dinah - hope it is nothing serious with your Grandad.

Don't panic Dinah. I know you are worried about baby coming early so understand you want to be organised but you will get there and half the things you see in these catalogues etc aren't really needed.
