Just been out for a wee wander - have to build up her exercise gently over a couple of weeks & probably mostly lead walking (as she runs around like a total lunatic otherwise:rotfl:).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Ask cc company to change the date. Just watch what it will mean the month the change takes place0

Thanks whizzing - I've already done that!
Bill used to be produced a bit earlier but it meant that payment had to be made on the 29th of each month - and I'm not paid until the last working day so sometimes it was a bit tight ...... will have a think about it but I am used to when it cuts off / needs paid so don't really want to change it again IYKWIM. It's really only for the pot updates that I get confused so will probably rethink them instead!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Badger
- great to see you've started your own diary & will be popping over to catch up in a mo (Maisie seems to have finally decided it's time for a snooze!;))

Plan for today ...... I'm off work :j (had a carp week so really need a break from it)
Bad news ..... having been lovely & sunny all week (even if a bit on the cool side!), it's raining. AND I seem to have woken up totally stuffed with the cold
where the **** did that come from? I rarely get them (think well over a year since I've had one) and have an interview on Tues.....
Anyway - list of things to do:- Go to town & get fuel - must remember to take the fuel can & fill - having that to use meant I've managed to eeeekkk out the fuel from Weds to now - saving an 18 mile round trip just for fuel :money: (and I still would've needed to go to town today too)
- Get Father's Day pressie & card ..... oh boy, DF is so hard to buy for (and it's his B'day soon too:eek:)
- Go to pet shop & try to only buy Maisie food
- Pay window cleaner (at pet shop)
- Try to get a walk somewhere reasonably sheltered!
- Be back for Noon as dog walker coming
- Maybe a bit of housework ..... urgh .... maybe not!:o

Aha! Stage one completed and worked then!! - Most of us don't have regular interviews for jobs so it is worth preparing for Tuesday. Here's my two pennies-worth of observations
Make sure you have researched the core business and anything else you can find out about the way the Company works and if you can, they job you're going for - what's their ethos, customer service approach or whatever. Nobody will expect you to know everything but you might want to ask an intelligent question to finish the interview and show them you have a bit about you and have thought it through and prepared (but don't be a smart!!!!!!)
Be prepared to talk further about your examples and maybe prepare a bit to be able to focus on your personal contribution to things you have written about. What difference (business benefit) was in your way of working. So don't say things like "I'm a great teamworker" as that's the conclusion you want them to come to - so maybe convey that you like finding out about other people's ideas and how they like to work so that you can work effectively with them and come up with the best solution for everyone (the I'm OK, You're OK model that shows you can adapt and compromise). They might test working with resistance and how you do that.
If the interview isn't structured it can help to take a bit of control - are there any subjects you definitely want to cover? you could dangle the subject by laying out a hook for them to pick up on in the next question (this assumes they funnel the questions through the what happened, how did you, what difference... route) - you can take them to the next level without waiting for the follow-up question if that is what they are doing (takes the stress off the interviewer and lets them concentrate on your answers rather than worrying about what to ask next).
Don't forget to buy some Sudafed (if you can have them) so that you are not blocked up or snotty on Tuesday!
Well done and good luck!
