I had no idea about Maisie when I posted earlier - I have just read the link. I'm so sorry to hear she's been ill. Fingers crossed that she shrugs it off as quickly as children do (terrifyingly quick extremes).

    Best wishes

  • Awwwww thanks all :o for the good wishes for Tues & for Maisie

She is a lot brighter this morning (still not quite her usual nutty self) but certainly a big improvement:):). SL yup just like kids, they can go from absolutely fine to really ill in a couple of hours and (fingers crossed) bounce back nearly as quickly - we've the vets later on to check how she's doing.

She has brought me her favourite toy this morning which is a good sign but doesn't have the energy to play with it for more than a couple of mins at a time ... but it's a good sign :)

  • Awww thanks Badger:D.

Been to the vets & her temp's within normal range again :j - she's still totally exhausted (I guess a bit like us when we've got a bug) but has had a couple of small meals.

I've to watch her closely for the next 48 hours (the meds she got yesterday to bring down the temp wear off today so need to watch closely to make sure she's not going down again). She's got antibiotics for 5 days & has to have gentle short walks until they're finished.

Been chucking down all day so going to try to dash out in between heavy downpours to let her stretch her legs.

Had a wee nap myself but still feeling pretty shattered - just about as bad as having kids eh!:o
