    Good evening xx

We had our monthly Biggest Loser weigh in today... I have lost half a stone since the start of the year and claimed the prize of £10! :j

I will use some of it to buy something nice and healthy for the contestants and myself, but anything that's left will be put into savings!

So i'm gaining £'s whilst losing lbs! :D only 35lbs to go to target..

Morning all, had a very busy week so haven't managed to get on and catch up with everyone!

    MSE activites
    • £32.50 tesc0 clubcard vouchers received
    • £10 sainsbugs vouchers from VO - put the money into savings pot
    • £5 Amaz0n voucher from Sw*gbucks - money into savings pot - now closed the account
    • £250 overtime pymt into savings pot
    • 3rd Tesco shop done since Xmas which means I get 1000 extra points this qtr - from now on i'll be shopping at Ald1 and Lid1 as much as I can unless I've got vouchers
    • I have a £5 off £30 spend in Lid1 for next wk shoved through our door, think they're trying to compete against the new Ald1 that was built.. OH hates it but I've promised him a pretzel if he comes with :rotfl:he's easily bribed.
    • £20 c0nsumerpulse vouchers are ready to order - just got to decide what I want to get
    • Homemade bread is in the airing cupboard proving, wholemeal, seed and grain  healthy-ish, no?:D
    • about to make banana oat cakes for lunch - manky bananas need using up!
    • another 13 hours overtime clocked up this week
UN-MSE activies (all food related )
    • bought sandwiches from the van two days in a row - £6 for two baguettes, two packets of crisps and 2 cans of pop
    • "treated" myself to fish and chips on Friday night as I didn't get home from work till 9 - £7.25:eek: they weren't even that nice either!
So off to make some lunch, finish some bits of work :( then i'll be sitting down to catch up on some diaries!

Really busy week at work again, which is a good thing but also means I don't get to do much around the house :o, watch tv or get on MSE!

I've had quite a good week for post this week.. so far I've received.
    • £32.14 cheque from GTM
    • £20 vouchers from C0nsumer pulse
    • a free teabag (apparently it's my birthday:rotfl:)
    • 6 sample Magg1 sachets (for chicken) from a campaign
    • and not in the post but included anyway £30 from Imutua1
Always better to receive this than bills I find!!!:j

If the universe is listening, thank you for the money that is coming into my life at the moment, it may not be great sums but it all adds up! and if you want to give me a lottery win i'd be everso grateful....

    :D

I've been shopping today, had some bargains :j
    • 2 tops from Dotty P's - 20% off one top, £5 off voucher in the shop and the rest paid for with free vouchers from surveys - so completely free :j
    • spent £40 at lid1 - used a £5 off voucher
    • shopped at B&M for some other bits and pieces.. saved £5 on the things I normally buy from the supermarket
So all good on the MFWing and now my focus the rest of this year has to go on losing this extra 3 stone as I don't want to develop health issues as I get older.

My treadmill arrived yesterday :D so my first goal is to make sure i'm doing at least 10,000 steps a day (currently manage about 3-4000:o) also using it every day for a year means it will have only cost me just over £1 a day.. approx. the same price as a gym membership. Update - in monetary terms my workout so far has cost £399.99  first goal to get under £100/workout.

I've also found a free pilates website where you can download a workout calendar from so I shall be doing this also to get some shape and tone back. Just done the obliques (sp?) work out, jeez the woman is evil - I swear!

So this is me for the rest of the afternoon ani-smiley-runner.gif

    Have a good weekend xxxxx

  • Hi Shala. Good luck with the exercising - it has really worked for me. Not only have I lost weight but I have more energy and get less colds and bugs. It was hard to start with but now I really enjoy it.

Thanks Fortune, I've always hated the gym just because i'm so self-conscious, i'm building up to go to zumba and aerobics because I do enjoy them but I can't go there on my own!!

I always see you go to Zumba, i'm very jealous - it's looks such a good laugh:D

    • ordered Amaz0n vouchers from TCB £27.09 - will put equivalent in savings
    • made homemade granola
    • got a gorgeous granary loaf for 39p at Wa1trose - saving £1.06
    • completed a meal plan for next week
    • OH changed his phone contract - now paying £10.50 instead of £40 ish
    • BIL has promised us his cross trainer when we get the garage emptied so OH is considering leaving the gym - savings of £35 a month
    • made my own cleaning spray with bleach and stardrops

That's brilliant. Keep up the good work. I'm very jealous of the equipment you have/will be getting. The financial savings will be fantastic.

Are you going to have a financial bliss style exercise log? Maybe 2,013kms in 2013. I'll be part of your cheer-leading squad.

I have a simple exercise bike. It's that simple I can't work out the distance display.

I don't know about you but exercising keeps my attention longer if I can watch a film or TV program at the same time.
    Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Hi Peonie... I've already fell at the first hurdle today - only just got in from work and i'm starving.. :o so no exercise for me, just a drink, some dinner and bed!

I haven't seen FB's fitness log, i'll have to pop on over, thanks. Not sure how far 2013 Kms is but it sounds a long distance! It'd take a while :rotfl:

I will be making up for the lack of exercise tomorrow, i'm off on holiday so maybe two long walks will be attempted and some different pilates moves
