  • Happy new year and its a glorious day for a bit of fence repairing. Mr T is taking down the outside lights later on, so that's one less job for the weekend.

Good luck with the decluttering - we certainly won't be buying any chocolate for Easter :rotfl:

    Best wishes Tilly

    Hi Pd,

I do use swagbucks but i can only get about 3 points a day. Once i reach the next payout i'll be closing my account. I use another 10-15 survey/points sites anyway that are more generous with their payouts.

If you have any tips on how to make it more productive then they'd be most appreciated!

    xx

I'm a teacher so don't have copious amounts of spare time to throw at it during term time, but easily hit 30-50 SB a day with a minimum amount of effort. It does help that I spend a lot of time on the laptop (general surfing, planning lessons etc) and the vast majority of what I do runs in the background with minimal effort from me. Here what I do:
    • Downloaded the tool bar which gives 1 SB/day
    • Daily poll (1 SB)
    • NOSO (2 SB)
    • Searches x2 a day (varies... normally about 7 SB a time)
    • 10 SB (5 x 2 rounds of 2 different games) from games (drop3 and Fyoozd pretty quick and mindless)
    • run SBTV in background (3 SB per 10 vids up to maximum of 75 SB/day)
    • Any vids on homepage
    • Check through special offers pages for vids / easy offers
    • follow SB UK on Facebook for extra codes
    • Follow SB thread on 'Up your income' board on MSE
    • on days with low daily goals, try to hit target to get bonus SBs following month

I tend to have a quick blast in the morning to do the easy bits and then the more time consuming bits (e.g. SBTV) at night when I'm working.

I've also got into the habit of leaving the meter for SBTV at 80% at the end of the day, so two quick clicks in the morning gets me an easy 3 SBs.

NY resolution is to try and get a few referrals so I can earn easy SB (I'll get whatever they earn on SB search up to a maximum of 1000 SB)

Hope that helps give you some ideas. I'm comfortably getting £10 a month in Amazon GCs using the above which I'm saving towards Christmas. Small fish compared to what some people on the SB thread manage, but I don't have the time to dedicate to it that they do.

Thanks Pd, i'll have a go this week at earning some better pointage.. I always wondered how anyone managed to get to the goal points each day!!

Haven't had much time on the computer today to try, as I've been making a Chanel handbag cake.. it's took me 5-6 hours in total plus baking time yesterday so I'm about ready for my bed, i'm not used to concentrating solidly for that length of time :rotfl:

    Thanks again xx

If you think about it though Shala, the lap-top will help to keep you on top of your MFW ways, so really it's a :money: purchase

    Morning all..

Still getting used to my new shiny laptop so bit behind with everyone's diaries.. I lost all the links from my old one so I've got to find everyone again

I also have no 0ffice application on this laptop yet so I've been separated from my lovely spreadsheets  I'm hoping to get it put on before the end of next week as it's payday and I NEED to update!!

I've had a busy ole week, even played an hour of badminton last night (first time I've played in 20 years) so i'm creamy crackered.. i'm having a restful -ish day today I think with lots of comfort food.

    So list :
    • [STRIKE]Get up[/STRIKE]
    • 2 loads of washing - one in, will do the second tomorrow I think:o
    • 2 loads of tumble drying - one done, 2nd tomorrow
    • [STRIKE]fill dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]crumpets for breakfast[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]catch up on diaries[/STRIKE]
    • fetch some dvd's - free using Tesc0 vouchers - realised the vouchers were out of date on the way there so Oh has just had one DVD which he's paid for:mad: have to order some new vouchers
    • make macaroni cheese for tea
    • [STRIKE]sit on sofa[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]eat popcorn[/STRIKE]
    :D:D:D
