If the guy is interested any sort of message will probably get a response.

Remember guys in general get far far fewer messages than you ladies so they often don't have the same filtering/criteria to responding that you would do.

I get that but there is no reason for them to argue back if they have been told thanks but no thanks – its not likely that them telling me I am wrong and they are my type is going to make me change my mind!

I was referring to contacting a bloke first, rather than idiots arguing with you after you've told them thanks but no thanks.

Some guys are just like that sadly. They can't take the blow to the ego that someone might not be interested.

oops - sorry, my bad!!! Ive just quit smoking so I get confused at the littlest of things at the minute!!
  • JennyP - your date sounds very promising. In theory I woudn't text him and I'd wait for him to contact me. However, I'm so impatient and incapable of following my own advice so I'd probably end up sending the 'had a lovely evening' text the others have suggested!

there should be a button on either the message or on his profile to block user - what site is it and I will know roughly more where about it will be!

    Gosh, it's SO disheartening.

Had such a flurry of emails and interest last week. Now nothing - except from an overweight, aged and rather ugly German who is 25 years older than me! Not that I've anything against Germans (used to live there) but I don't want an ugly one!

It's just so boring logging on and finding nothing isn't it?

And still no text from last night's lovely man!

There are over 46,000 men online on Match.com right now and I can't find a single new profile that I fancy winking at!

TXT him and then you wont need to log on if he says yes to another date....If he's shy,as you said,it will give him a boost ...then how can he say no!!!

    You know you want too....lol

Please dont let POF control your life it can become so adictive but also so destroying

Think positive Jenny. Your date was only yesterday so there's still plenty of time for him to ring/text, and as others have said you could always text him. I've got my fingers crossed for you :)
