Update......

I am now officially in a relationship. I asked out my friends dad and he accepted. He is 11 years older, we are in love, never met anyone like him and hes smitten with me.
Everything is great, we have been out a lot, he pays for me for everything, I even had a gas leak and he paid for some of that bill. He picks me up, makes me tea, invites me over, stays over at mine, we are so happy and so fortunate to have found each other. We are serious about each other and I feel part of the family. Hes the old fashioned gent who shows his feelings, opens doors, pulls out chairs etc, always does my washing up when I make food for him, hes absolutely fantastic and I love him to bits. hes my best friend and as I get on with his daughter too and we all have a great time together.

Met up 6 weeks ago (after chatting on POF) and it's been going fairly well so far.

I've noticed the stigma of dating sites appears to be easing. When I told my housemate how we met, he went off to sign up.

Sorry been busy with my new man. We have been seeing each other for 8 weeks now. And we love each other, its brilliant. We are like two peas in a pod and we've already talked about committment. We are both very affectionate people. His ex wife has not met me yet, but she viewed cuddles and intimacy as stop being silly. So with him not being with someone for nine years and me not having a proper relationship for ten years we are just right for each other.
We are mad on classic cars, just like his daughter who I met him through and also he wants to finish his house and possibly live with me, though that might be next year yet as a lot to do on his house. I had a lovely birthday with him, took me for meal in mcr, got me some classic mirrors for my mx5, a new camera, a dab radio, some wine, and keeps getting me things. Wont let me buy him anything.
He treats me with respect and dignity and all my family and friends like him very much.
hes 11 years older than me but I dont care and neither does he. Marriage yes possibly, soulmate yes.

We are planning a weekend away or midweek break to either edinburgh or berlin or london. He works shifts so sometimes I dont see him for a full week and he sometimes forced to do overtime at weekends.
So Im still here its just that Im never in !:D
